Like many of the other kids, Roman knew Wendy's was where it was at. He loved most of the food on the menu, even if nearly all of it was against his training program. He didn't mind coming alone either--having the kind of social power he possessed, Roman had the confidence to sit by himself at a table, knowing eventually someone would take the seat across from him. It wasn't arrogance that led him to this theory--it was past experience. People just seemed to like talking to him; why, he hadn't figured that out it.
Annabel heard the small chime as she entered Wendy's. She's never been to Wendy's before so she wasn't sure what to order. Looking around for someone to help her a smile spread across her face as she saw Roman. Shyly going over to him she looked up at him,"Hey Roman! I- I was wondering if you knew what was good here to eat...."
Roman looked up from his phone, a smile upturning his lips as he stared up at her. He couldn't recall what she had asked for a moment, hence the hesitation that plagued him as he looked up at her with a complete blankness to his eyes. "Oh, uhmm..." he looked down at his own meal, one of nuggets, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. "I'd suggest what I have here, but I'm not sure if we like the same things." he answered, meeting her eyes again--setting his phone on the table, facedown.
A blush spread onto Annabel's face as she looked down at his food. "Do you mind if I have a small bite?" She asked embarrassed. "I mean it's okay if you say no after all it is your food and I know about germ and such,"She got nervous and started to babble. "Sorry,"She murmured looking down at her hands.
"Yeah, go for it!" he encouraged, trying to display through his smile he was being sincere. "You can sit if you want." he added, pulling his bag off the table. Roman wasn't sure why she was being so shy--did he give off some sort of forbidding aura? He wasn't trying to be off putting...
((I've actually never been to Wendy's))Annabel hesitantly took a small bite out of one and thanked him softly. "Well I'll sit when I finished ordering thanks for the help Roman,"Smiling she went to order but came right back after. "So how was your day today?" she asked as she sat down.
((Kit. You need to hang out with me sometime and I'll take you to Wendy's. Like. How can you not go there?))
((I LOVE Wendy's<3))
Roman nodded. He played with his phone a little more when she left, becoming a little bored with being left alone. He wasn't sure who Annabel was, the most time he had ever spent talking to her was mostly compiled of simple pleasantries and things like that. Wasn't she dating someone? He felt like he might have saw her holding hands with someone in the hallway one time or another. "It was uneventful." he answered, watching her sit down across from him. "You?"

"Well other than my jealous boyfriend than nothing,"Annabel giggled. Nathan had freaked out on her because of the other Nathan. "It was boring good day, y'know?" Running a hand through her hair she went to get her order after excusing herself. Coming back she smiled,"Well than Roman I hope you have good taste in food."
((I've never been to Wendy's or to Five Guys [I can't go to Five Guys or Chick-fil-A because they both use peanut oil which I'm allergic to]... awkward...))
((I don't know what Five is?))
He watched her get up and come back again, this time with food. This time his expression was a little apprehensive, so she was that girl... and she was laughing at the idea of her boyfriend being jealous? That wasn't going to end well, not for him at least. The last thing Roman wanted was drama over a misunderstanding. "Are you sure he'd be okay with this?" He asked, gesturing to her sitting with him. Rome wouldn't be too happy if he had a girlfriend eating lunch with another guy...

((It's a burger place))Annabel shook her head,"No but he'll get over it. He just gets jealous easily even if it's for no good reason. I suppose this can be mistaken as a date but I'll talk to him about it when I see him." She tilted her head,"Why the worry though?" she asked softly. The mention of Nathan always sent guys in a frenzy since he was always jealous. However as much as she loved him she does have boys who are friends and he has to deal.
Roman ate his food, pondering how exactly he wanted to explain his thoughts to her. "Well, it just seems a bit counterproductive of you to give him the impression you are out on dates with other guys. I just feel like you might save yourself a bit of trouble if you played it a little safer." he paused, offering a half smirk. "Not to mention rumors fly pretty fast around here, so I wouldn't want to get into a fight under a misunderstanding."
"But we're not on a date. We're just friends eating together after I ran into you,"Annabel told him softly. "Besides I'm sure he won't mind....munch anyways. He trusts me and I trust him so I assure you there'll be no fights. He after all has set his sights on someone else to fight,"She grinned, showing her teasing nature.
Laughing with her, Roman was still a tad unbelieving. It was okay though, if Annabel wasn't worried, he shouldn't be. After all, it was her boyfriend. "True, I suppose." he remarked, dropping a couple fries into his mouth. His attention was brought back to Anabel for the second part of her statement... that didn't sound good. "Oh? Is someone trying to steal your virtue?" he teased.
Annabel smiled when he seemed to ease up some about Nathan. "Not exactly. Nathan is like a hound dog I suppose. When a guy flirts with me he's already on their case," A smile lit up her face anytime she would talk about her boyfriend. "Of course he doesn't listen when I tell him there's no need to worry."
What a lovely comparison that was. Rome wasn't so sure he liked that... he almost cringed and it wasn't even about him. He just felt that if you were dating someone, shouldn't you like them unconditionally? Well... maybe not to that extent. But Roman wasn't so sure the way Annabel was talking about Nathan was exactly... polite. If it were anyone else, it would be exaggerated and told to the next person, starting rumors about their relationship problems.
Good thing it was only Roman. "It sounds... taxing." he replied carefully, still remotely uncomfortable.

Annabel shrugged,"We'll if you love someone you learn I deal with the small things you don't particularly like. And I don't mind really I'm just worried about the guys. However there is no need to worry because he only does it when they flirt with me. And in this case were just hanging out." Annabel was trying to put him at ease,"Don't worry I'll make sure he lays off you," she teased him.
"I'm not really worried about him attacking me, if that's what you're implying. I can handle myself in a fight, even if I don't particularly like them. I can usually simmer it down so it doesn't lead to a fight though, so..." he shrugged, eating a couple of fries. Roman still wasn't sure about Annabel though... "But why would he be so worried, it's not like you're going to cheat on him, right?"
Annabel showed a rare scowl when he mentioned cheating. She would never cheat after all she was born from an affair and she's been through hell from that. "Never, ever,"She agreed. "I mean not only is it disrespectable but it's an outrageous prospect!" She blushed deeply knowing how she got about it,"Sorry,"She murmured softly. "I'm just really...passionate about it."
Roman nodded, taking a sip of his drink. He stared out of the window, becoming distracted with the view. Wow... the clouds had cleared and the sky was blue and beautiful. It really was the perfect time for a run. "It was really nice talking with you, Annabel." he looked back to her, a genuine smile brightening his features. "I'm gonna' go, but I'll see you around school, yeah?" he asked, standing up with his tray.
