Sirius ran down the hall.

Freya skipped.

Soon children flooded the corridors.

Freya walked and walked. James followed Sirius. "Where is Moony?"

"Back there.", he replied, gesturing to behind them.

"Freya was staring at him."

"Yum."

"That's....." James trailed off. "How's Honey?" he said, running a hand through his hair.

"I don't know and don't care."

"That's ruuude!" drawled Freya as she passed.

Sirius rolled his eyes.

James dragged Sirius over to Freya. "Point well made, Freya."

Sirius shrugged. "Reasons I don't care: one, I've Never talked to her. Two, she does not efect me in any way. Shall I go on?", he asked with a false grin.

James looked unhappy. Freya frowned. "Your mean."

Sirius raised his hands in surrender.

"Good." Freya said.

Sirius walked away, his hands still over his head.

James looked at Freya and made a funny lookin face. "How's Remus?"

Just then Lily was nearing, then saw James and tried to go back, hoping he didn't see her already.

James ran over to Lily. "Hey, Evans.' he smiled dashingly.

Lily ignored him and walked faster.

"Evans! May I remind you that you agreed to go to hogsmeade with me." he called loudly.

She hurried over. "You DON'T have to tell the whole WORLD!", she whispered harshly.

James grinned foolishly. "Yes I do."

"I won't do it if you keep telling people."

James pouted. "Fiiiine."

Lily ran away so he wouldn't catch up to her.

James smiled to himself.

Lily left the commonroom.

All the marauders were walkin' down the hallway. Except for James, he was strutting.

"Well, Moony, did you think you did all right on the werewolf section of the final?' said James with mock concern.

"Well, let's see. Name 5 characteristics of a werewolf. He's wearing my clothes, he's in my seat, his name is Remus Lupin....."

They all laughed in appreciation. "I think I got the tuft of fur on the tail, and the length of the snout. I'm not sure about the others..." James sighed. 'Come on, wormtail, you run around with a werewolf once a month--" he said loudly.

"SSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Remus hissed.

James nodded and casually pulled out a snitch from his pocket and started playing with it. Peter gasped. "_where did you get that?" he said in awe. "Nicked it." he said in an off hand voice.

Sirius gasped with false surprise. "James! How DARE you?!?!?!"

Lily was walking at quite a speed down the hall. She stopped by an empty classroom and locked herself in.

Freya knocked nervously. "Lily?"

Lily opened the door. "Yes?"

"Wanna talk about it?" Freya asked softly.

Lily shrugged. "I don't know....."

Freya hugged her. Alden walked down a different corridor.

Lily walked out of the abandoned classroom.

Alden sat down against the wall.

Lily walked past him, not realizing who he was. If she did realize, she would have apologized for James's behavior.

Alden looked up. "Hey, Lily."

Lily looked back at the voice. "Oh, hi. Look, I'm sorry for what happened last night. James is a real jerk."

'Naw, its not your fault."

Lily smiled. "Well, bye." she said. Then she walked off.

Alden sighed and sat down.
