History: Renzo grew up with his mom and dad, with a twin brother. Everything was kind of going away, in this apocalyptic wasteland of a world he lived in, until one day his brother was attacked by a vampire and turned. He was devastated, because he thought Vitale was dead.

Personality: Emma has a heart of gold. She's got a talent when it comes to comforting people, there's always this heartwarming aura around her that draws people to her. There aren't many things that frighten the girl other than vampires(considering what she's heard of them) and poisonous animals. She is flawed in the sense that she isn't very decisive when it comes to pretty much everything, always afraid of hurting somebody in the process of doing it, labeling her as something close to selfless. She's a little naive but for her, there's always something good in everybody, she loves bringing out the good in everyone and she loves to help. A gentle creature, she is.

History: Emma's life was live rather sheltered. That is, until the vampires took reign of the world, destroying pretty much everything she once called home. Ever since then, and the fact they mercilessly ripped her little sister apart, she's been absolutely terrified of them. She took refuge in a camp with her boyfriend and his family and her own brother. It was well obvious that she and her boyfriend were very much in love until one day, he simply disappeared. Which completely devasted Emma, leaving her with so many unanswered questions.

Personality: Committed to her beliefs. Highly intuitive, emphatic and dedicated listener. Quietly forceful and sensitive. Fears doing the wrong thing. Very individualistic, but can work with groups to accomplish a goal.

History: April knows that her parents are dead. She witnessed the bloodbath, saw the vampires rip out their throats. But deep down, she cannot accept this reality. The grief never hit her. She took up healing when she arrived in the Camps, deciding to avoid the haze of battle.

Personality: She is determined and angry but she has a reason to be, Des is a damaged package. She seems to kill without thought but she does think, sometime too much. Des is cold and untrusting but will be loyal and will not betray you even if she doesn't trust you. Few actually ever get to witness Des being herself, she pushes them away and focuses on one thing, hunting vampires.

History: When Des was twelve she watched her parents be killed by bloodsuckers, for an unknown reason the leaches spared her life. This wasn't enough to stop her from hating them, in fact it fueled her hatred and anger more than anything. After Des ran away from her house she made herself a promise, that no matter what she would make sure she would bring the leaches that killed her family to justice, and also any other bloodsuckers that got in her way.

History: Del had a family until the vampires came. Taking her mom and sister away from her. All she has left is her father that isn't handling things very well. With an older brother that won't stop complaining about anything no matter what happens in their lives now.
