Emma wandered into the infirmary, not able to keep the wide smile off of her face. She'd figure she go and get her wound disinfected and properly wrapped so nothing of the sort would happen again when she met up with Vitale once more. She slowly took a seat on one of the beds and was told to wait, so she did. Though she couldn't wait to tell Renzo, how happy he'll be! Or so she hoped he'd be happy.

Renzo wandered into the infirmary, looking around as he gingerly held his wrist in one hand, looking around for any medic to help him. Surprised when he saw Emma on the bed next to the one he was directed to, he smirked, not noticing the jacket at first. "What'd ya do? Fall on a strawberry?"

Coincidentally, Renzo suddenly appeared, holding his wrist. She watched him walk over and couldn't help but grin at his greeting. "Maybe, did you pull a muscle flexing in the mirror?" She teased in return before biting her lip. "But seriously...I...you won't believe this." She motioned for him to come closer, her eyes darting around, not wanting anyone to hear.

"Actually, I was trying to be helpful and start tonight's fire, and some knucklehead dropped the log on my wrist." He shrugged, then his brows creased as he recognized the jacket she was wearing. "And where on earth did you get that, Em?" He sat down next to her on her bed, watching her.

Emma bit her lip and smiled down, looking at the sleeves of the jacket. She couldn't believe this. She still couldn't believe it. "He's alive, Renzo." She whispered quietly, scooting closer to him, her eyes meeting his. "I saw him...he's...he's still here." She told him seriously, watching his reaction.

Renzo paled and shook his head, "H-he's dead, Emma. It's been four months. If he had been alive he would have come back to us. Or maybe he's a ghost now? You saw his ghost, yeah?"

Emma bit her lip and then took his hand gently, taking a deep breath. "H-he's still here." She repeated quietly, shaking her head at the ghost part. "He's...He was turned..." She managed, squeezing his hand gently.

Renzo's dark eyes were searching hers, barely noticing as she took his injured hand, then he shook his head again. "He can't be. That is the last thing he would ever want to be, especially because of you and your fanged fears."

Emma bit her lip and looked down, not able to meet his gaze. "I'm not scared of him." She whispered quietly. "I don't know why...I...I mean...I was at first...I nearly ran for my life...but then...he looked so ashamed of himself...and I felt so bad...because we both know that he would never hurt a fly..." She whispered, biting her lip. "He didn't have a choice...he turned and...and he's been for four months, now.."

Renzo sighed quietly and looked down at his hands, "Was he any different than he was before, or just he just have fangs and some allergy to sunlight now?" He bit his lip and looked back up at her, running a hand through his hair.

Emma bit her lip and then shrugged slightly, "Not sure about the sunlight thing..but...he has fangs." She told him quietly. "But he's the same Vitale, there's no doubt about it." She assured him quietly.

"So you saw his fangs?" Renzo looked at her and sighed, then buried his face in his hands. "He's not alive..."

"Maybe...he isn't...but he's still here." She told him softly, now laying a hand on his back. "He wishes you well..by the way..."

((I DIDN'T KNOW HE COULDN'T EAT BREAD OMG))

Renzo bit his lip, shaking his head. "That sounds like Vitale, but....I just can't even believe it. Four months of nothing..."

((LOL ME NEITHER!!))

Emma looked at him and closed her eyes. "I know....it's a shock for me too...I can't wrap my head around it..." She admitted quietly. "It feels surreal..."

((I CAN EAT BREAD IN CASE YOU WANT TO MAKE ME A SANDWICH))

Renzo sighed and put his hand on her knee, "So he gave you his jacket, how sweet. But...why are you in here? I'm sure he would have taken good care of you..."

((OMG OKAY! WHAT KIND OF SANDWHICH!??!?!! *runs in kitchen and peeps head out*))

Emma smiled a little and then gestured to her leg. "Um...long story short...Vitale got me to the Orchard...turns out there was a psycho vampire running around at the speed of light, mentally scarred me for life by her whispers, he brought me up the tree, she followed, scared the crap out of me and I cut myself on te tree." She told him, sighing promptly.

((Nutella please, love!))

Renzo bit his lip, "You cut yourself...and you started bleeding...In the presence of not just one, but two vampires? We you on a suicide mission?"

((OMG YES YES YES!! I LOVE ME SOME NUTELLA!!! *makes ten Nutella sandwhiches*))

Emma shuddered a little and shook her head, "No...well...no..I wasn't...it just..happened...and...well...the psycho vampire I wa sure was going to kill me..but we got the wound wrapped up and V took me away.."

Renzo sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "Nothing happened? No blood-crazed vampires trying to get a drink out of you?"

((Omg thanksies <3 *takes one and eats*))

Emma shook her head vigorously. "Thank the Lord that did not happen." She breathed out, "I'm sure I would have died just by seeing it happen...or almost happen.."

((<3 *eats five*))

Renzo bit his lip as he noticed a small bit of dried blood in the canyons of the fingerprint on her index finger, where Vitale hadn't licked, then he took her finger in between one of his and his thumb. "You could've lost a hand..."

Emma looked at him, then observed their hands. "What do you mean, I could have lost a hand?" She murmured softly, slightly confused by his words. "My leg was the one at stake.." She mumbled, blinking a few times.

Renzo held up her finger, pointing to the small bit of dried blood, then looked at the bandage that was wrapped around her leg. "Either way."

Emma looked at it and then bit her lip, "You're right." SHe murmured quietly and then sighed, "He misses you." She told him quietly, smiling a little.

He bit his lip and looked back up, "And I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him."

She looked at him, then brushed a few strands of hair out from his face. "Maybe you two should get together.." She murmrued quietly.

Renzo sighed and looked up, hearing the footsteps of an approaching medic. "I don't know where to find him."

Emma looked at the medic who came to them. "I do." She whispered quietly before glancing up at the medic.

"Who's first?" The medic asked, looking at the two, taking in each of their injuries -- nothing too bad.

Renzo sat up straight and pointed one hand at Emma, "Ladies first," he insisted, an innocent smile on his face.

Emma looked at him and rolled her eyes with a gentle smile. "Um...if I could just have it disinfected...I'll be fine." She told the man with a small smile.

"Sure thing!" He told her her and rummaged around briefly before finding some cotton and some peroxide and crouching down. Gently he undid the piece of wrapped cloth and then soon began to cleanse it. "Mind telling me what happened?"

Emma's eyes widened slighly and her eyes darted to Renzo, pleading for help. She couldn't lie. Emma wasn't able to lie. A dead person could lie better than she could.

Renzo sighed quietly, "It was my fault, and I'm sorry. I was chasing her through the forest because she called me a wimp, and I accidentally knocked her over. We're just lucky that there weren't any vampires around, because it was bleeding a lot. We got it mostly cleaned up, though," he finished, shrugging. "That's how this blasted wrist hurt, too. I tripped on a rock and landed wrong."

Emma looked at him in utter disbelief and amazement, how...the hell had he come up with that so quickly? "U-um yeah." She agreed weakly, wincing as the alcohol hit her leg. It stung.

The medic glanced up at the two and frowned a little, "Try not to wander too far in the forest, we never know what's lurking. The vampires have no mercy, remember that, we wouldn't want to lose any of you." He told them seriously as he threw the cotton wad away and soon worked on bandaging the wound. Once he was done, he went and washed his hands off before walking back to Renzo to tend his wound. "Does it hurt when you move it? Can you move it?"

Renzo glanced at Emma and shrugged, then he held his wrist up, "I actually can't move it, can you see how much it's swollen? It's kind of killing me right now." He bit his lip and stood up straighter, biting his lip. "And I'm sorry, I'll remember to keep Emma out of the forest."

Doc examined his wound carefully before he gave a small nod. "Alright, well...there's a rather high chance that you've either fractured or broken your wrist." He told him simply [do they have x-rays machine here? O_O]. "A cast will certainly put it back into place and I'll give you some painkillers and whatnot. I would strongly suggest you don't overdo it. And as for keeping out of the woods, I meant it for you too, young man."

Renzo sighed and made a face, but nodded, holding up his arm again so the doc could cast it and seal it up. "I think painkillers are kind of a good idea right now, what about you, Emma?"

[okie dokes!]

Emma gave a small nod at Renzo's affirmation. "Something new to brag to the girls about." She teased quietly, smiling.

Doc got everything together and soon began to cast his wrist up. A small notion of time lost later, he was done and gently set his casted wrist down. "Alright, now you know the rules and I'll go get you some painkillers." He told Renzo before walking off. "Stay here." He called over his shoulder.

"Like I have a real choice?" Renzo made a face again, raising his eyebrows at Emma in a teasing matter. "So, you said you know where he is? Can you show me? Fuck what this guy says, I'm going into the forest if V's there."

Emma smiled slightly and nodded, "Yeah...I'm sure he'll still be hanging around." She assured him and then sighed quietly as she waited for the Medic to come back.

Doc came back, soon after, with a small bottle of pills. "One now...and then you can start with every morning and before you go to bed. No more than two a day." He instructed.

"Thanks, sir, we'll be sure to be careful." Emma smiled.

Renzo shrugged, standing up slowly and extending his casted arm, "Much thanks, sir." He saluted him, taking the bottle of pills, then starting to walk outside of the infirmary, waiting for Emma.

((It's okay, you don't have to punch her anymore...She was singing the new 1D single, but then she showed me the music video that was released like half an hour ago, and so it's all good, because it's precious! :3))
