Hayley walks beside Lexie as the lake comes into view. "Wow, its actually kind of pretty." She says, looking at the lake.
"yeah...I know it's the only place I come to think" she said sitting on a flat stone by the water.
Hayley sat next to her. "Do you ever get bothered by bloodsuckers here?" She asked Lexie
She shrugged "sometimes....I just kill them if they do show up"
she smiled at her "we're gonna be best friends forever" she said hugging her
Hayley hugged her back and grinned. "You know the apocalypse isnt so bad after all."
"You wanna go swimming?" Hayley asked Lexie, looking out over the water.
"Cool." Hayley said. Then she stood up on the rock she had been sitting on and dove into the water.
Hayley swam around the lake. She had always loved the water.
She dove under and looked around. She loves the water and swimming.
Hayley floated on her back and looked up at the sky.
She swam over and floated beside her. "so...any family still alive?" she asked quietly.
"Just my dad but hes never around. What about you?" Hayley asked, still looking at the sky.
"nahh...I didn't know my dad before so I dot really know about now...but my mom and sister are gone" she said sadly.
Hayley sighed. "For what its worth, Im sorry." She said, turning her head to look at Lexie.
She turned to look at her. "don't be I mean it was bad at first but I know they would want me to move on and try and live my life. And I have a old picture of my dad so if he is alive I would know"
Hayley smiles slightly. "Maybe one day you'll find him." She says, turning her head to look back at the sky.
She sighs "yeah maybe" she said to her self looking at the sky. It was getting dark which would mean that vamps would be coming out soon.
"Do you think we should get out?" Hayley asked, still floating on the water just enjoying the peacefulness.
She got up "yeah let's head back to my room or yours" se said swimming to the edge.
Hayley swam after her then got out and dryed off.
"alright so let's get some dinner" she said walking to the dinning hall.
Destiny sat with the very tips of her toes dancing across the top of the water. She looked up at the twilight sky with a ghost of a smile, it had always been her favourite time of day. It was so peaceful at the moment but Destiny knew peace never lasted long anymore. The forest around her was filled with the sound of birds busily flying home before sunset and Destiny knew she could stay here for to much longer or the blood suckers would find her.
Des heard footsteps and she knew that her peace and quiet was over now. She climbed up a tree and waited. She soon recognised the face, or at least she thought she did, surely it wasn't the same leach she had ran into earlier. Surely it wasn't the leach who had for some reason spared her life after she had tried to kill him. She noticed another figure, this one female and unfamiliar, she watched in curiosity. Destiny had a thought, was there really any use hiding? The vampire had already caught her scent earlier, usually the leach wouldn't live for her to worry about her scent being followed but this time was different.((Wow, a looong time since I've posted... If you're still here... SORRY!))
"No actually I was here first so I should be asking you the same question," Destiny said rolling her eyes and launching herself from the branch, she was actually quite strong and very capable of physical activity... For a human of course. She sighed, "there have got to be plenty of other places you could be right now, why is it you have to show up where I am?" She said to him in annoyance. Destiny looked around suddenly remembering that there were two vampires a second ago, she looked around quickly, "ok, where's blondie?" She asked him bluntly, her fingers wrapping around the stake in her belt, daggers worked fine but she found it entertaining to use more classic approaches.
