The Mystics discussion

Andromeda walked into the infirmary and went straight to the small girl's bed, feeling her forehead to check her fever. "Not good, it hasn't gone down yet." She muttered and got a cold compress and a feverfew mix from her cabinet. Andromeda laid the compress on the girl's feverish head and opened her small mouth so she could drink the mix.

Ava walked into the infimary and made the rounds with Andromeda. Checking with every patient, giving the required medicine and recording how the patients health is going. "Hey Andromeda, hows the girl? She was pretty out of it before you came in. What do you think she has?"

Andromeda wiped the sweat from her brow. "She's not doing very well. Her fever's not gone down, I gave her a feverfew mix so we'll have to see how she reacts to it. I've not seen anything like it before, one day she's running about and the next she cannot even get out of bed."

"Wow, have you tried healing her yet"

Andromeda looked at her sharply, "of course not. You know its dangerous to try to heal someone when you don't even know what's wrong with them."

"Right. What are her symptons? we may be able to figure out what it is"

Andromeda sighed wearily, "fever, hallucinations, rash, bloodshot eyes, upset stomach, and she's hearing things."

Andromeda yawned and stretched, twisting to crack her back.

Jewel walked over to Andromeda "And may I speak to you for a moment?" She asked softy

Andromeda blinked, surprised and nodded. "Sure Jewel, what'cha need?"

Jewel sighed and looked down "I need your help to check something" she said softly. She paused "I need you to help me to see if I'm... Pregnant" she said looking up at And

Andromeda's eyes widened and she made a choked noise. "Uh, yeah. Right this way you can use one of the curtained rooms while I do the tests." She said, leading Jewel over to a row of curtains. She paused and bit her lip, "I assume that Tomlin would be the father?" She said, trying to wrap her head around it.

Jewel sat down on the table and went a bit red nodding "yer he would be, it's just Im late by a week and that's never happened to me" she told her softy

Andromeda nodded and drew the curtains closed. She rubbed a hand over her face, "does Tomlin know?" She asked as she gathered the materials for the test.

Jewel nodded "I told him I thought I might be but I wanted to get it check first, and your the only one I trust for this" she told her

Andromeda smiled, "well I'm honored. Anyway, I know this is gonna sound weird but I need you to pee in here." She said, handing Jewel a glass container. "I'll mix some herbs in it and in about an hour we'll know whether or not you're pregnant."

Jewel raised an eyebrow but didn't argue as she went off to the toilet and returned with some in it and handed it back to her, "um here" she said

Andromeda snickered, "yeah it's pretty strange but this is the least invasive way to do it." She crushed up the herbs and dropped them in the container. "Okay if the uh, mixture changes color then you're pregnant."

Jewel sat back down "an hour ok" she said a little nervous about the result. She looked at And "so how is that girl going that you told me about?" She asked remembering the very sick girl

Andromeda sighed and stress lined her forehead, "not any worse thankfully but not any better either. We seem to have stopped the infection but whether we can heal it, who knows?"

Jewel sighed worried for the little girl " there is alway my offer remember" she told her softly

Andromeda looked up from her charts at Jewel's test and bit her lip. She stood and walked over to Jewel, "well. Congratulations are in order I suppose." She said smiling, albiet slightly uneasily. "You're pregnant Jewel."

Jewel drew in a breath and smiled looking down at her tummy placing a hand over it "I'm pregnant" she said softly lookin up at andromeda looking confused "what's the matter And?" She asked worried

Andromeda opened her mouth to brush it off and say 'nothing' but changed her mind, instead deciding to speak her mind. "I'm just worried about how this will affect the rest of us. I'm sure it will all work out fine and I wish you and the baby the best."

Tomlin walked into the infirmary and swallowed nervously. He looked around and took a deep breath when he saw Andromeda and Jewel.

Jewel smiled "thank you And , but this won't effect my work till the very end, I can look after myself with this" she said softly looking down at her belly again "thank you" she said as she hugged Andromeda'

Tomlin strode up to them and held up his hands, "don't tell me how the tests went just yet, I have something to say first." He took a deep breath and turned to Jewel. He took her hand, "Jewel no matter how the test went I want you to know that the idea of starting a family with you is amazing and there is nothing I want more. If you're not pregnant then that's completely okay, there's time for that later. Either way I love you and I'm not going anywhere, so" he pulled something out of his pocket and kneeled down on one knee. He held out the ring he had gotten from the village. "Jewel, will you agree to spend the rest of your life with me and marry me?"

Jewel gasped and put her hand over her mouth, she looked at him in shock and slowly nodded her head snappin out of it. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck ,kissing him crying a little "yes" she said and kissed him again "yes I will" she said as she drew back to look at his face smiling happily at him

Tomlin smiled widely and slipped the ring on her finger before lifting her off her feet and kissing her.

Jewel laughed as she lifted her up, she held his face in her and kissed him back with passion behind her, she loved him and now he had made the move to show everyone else what they felt for each other

Andromeda made exaggerated gagging motions when they weren't looking but she was happy for them. "Don't let the boy wait too long Jewel, tell him the test results." She said with a smile.

Jewel pulled back and smiled at And before turning back to Tomlin smiling "your gonna be a father" she said proudly kissing his cheek

Tomlin smiled, "I am?" He asked excitedly while Andromeda rolled her eyes. "Yes really. Congratulations you two, on two counts." Andromeda said with a smile.

Jewel nodded kissing him again "yes" she said softly looking at And smiling, thank you she mouthed to her still in Tomlin's arms off the ground

Tomlin set Jewel back on the ground gently and kept a hand over her stomach. "Thanks And," he said warmly.

Andromeda smiled back at them, "yeah no problem guys. What are you going to name the baby?"

(I should get some sleep, it's so late it's early here)

(Yer it's gettig late here to and I have school tomorrow)

Jewel looked up at Tomlin "I haven't really givin it much though yet, do you have anything in mind?" She asked leaning into his arms against his chest

(You up?)

Tomlin thought about it for moment before shaking his head. "I'm still trying to get used to the news, I haven't thought about any names yet."

Jewel smiled "well we do have nine months to choice a name" she told his softly placing her hands over his in her tummy

He smiled at her softly, "true. Do you think it'll be a boy or a girl?"

Jewel looked down at her tummy "I don't know, but I want a boy" she looked back up at him half smiling "what would like us to have?" She asked him kissing his cheek

"I want a girl, so she'll be just like her mom." He said. "And while this is unbelievably cute it's also slightly sickening, so can you tone down the love just a little?" Andromeda said, smiling so they wouldn't take what she said to heart.

Jewel turned around in his arm and hugged him round the waist, " aww that's so sweet but I still rather a boy cause my bet is he will grow to be like you" she said grinning and went on her tippy toes to kiss him

Tomlin smiled against her lips and kissed her back. Andromeda rolled her eyes and returned to her charts.

When she pulled back she looked at her hand that now a ring sat on. She looked back up at him "it's beautiful Tomlin, thank you" she said softly kissing his cheek

"I'm glad you like it." He said, smiling.

"I don't like it... I love it just like the person that have it to me" she said softly placing her head against shoylder

Tomlin rested his head against hers and sighed, content.

She closed her eyes "so what shall we do know, cause I think we are disturbing And?" She said smiling

"Oh you are but don't leave on my account." Andromeda said, her lips curling up. Tomlin chuckled and said "why don't we go get some breakfast then?"

She laughed at And and looked at Tomlin "that sounds nice" she said softly taking his hand
