The Nerd Herd discussion

They marauders neared the whomping willow.

Peter jiggled into a rat. James changed into a stag. Freya watched them from a distance.

Sirius howled as he morphed into a dog. Remus stared at the moon, and finally morphed into a vicious man eating werewolf.

Freyas jaw dropped. "Oh my..." she whispered. James did deerish stuff.

Sirius slammed his head into the whomping willow. They all filed into the Shrieking Shack.

Freya looked at the procession. "Whoa." Peter the rat waddled in.

The entrance closed, and howls could be heard from within.

And a tiny squeak.

Freya ran forward, her red silk cloak enveloping her. She smacked the knot and followed them insjde. her wand was in hand.

Zach and Willow ran into sight.

"Beat you again! Ha." Willow said panting triumphicly

"Big deal!" he panted.

Willow laughed "so mr macho what act of bravery will you be demonstrating today?"

Zach looked at the tree. At its base was a blooming flower. He nodded towards it. "Want that?"

"What is it? Sure"

Zach ran towards the flower. As he neared it, the branches started zooming towards him.

"Watch out!" Willow screeched as one branch almost clubbed his head

Zach rolled down and raced towards the flower. A stray branch hit his nose, and blood flew everywhere, but he kept going.

Willow watched in terror as more and more branches started to close in on Zach

Zach grabbed the flower and ran back, one branch hitting his knee. He limped the last yard to her and grinned triumphantly. "Here.' his voice was thick with blood as he handed hwr the flowed.

"Oh my god." Willow laughed as she looked him over "we need to get you cleaned up! Is your nose broken?" She fingered the beautiful flower nervously

Zach held his sleeve to his nose. "Naw, I'm fine. That was fun. And worth it." he grinned.

Willow kissed his cheek "it's beautiful"

Zach blushed. "Th-Thanks, willow."

"C'mon, let's go to lunch."

Zach grinned. "Sure! What house are you in, again?"

"Ravenclaw, but I don't know many people there yet."

"Wanna grab some food and eat at the lake?" he asked apprehensively.

"Now come on I'm *starving*!!"

Zach laughed. 'Okay, okay. No racing, though, my knee hurts."

"Yah that sounds great! It's such a nice day out."

((Lol I do that all the time)) Zach bounced slightly. "Yay! C'mon, let's go.'

"No racing though right?" Willow laughed

"Please.' he groaned.

"Sounds good, I'll go get the food, what do you want?"

"Uhh.... Baked potatoe?"

"Ok be right back meet you at the lake in 10 minutes." Willow said as she ran off.

Zach smiled. He headed for the lake.

James waited at sunset.

Remus and Sirius arrived.

Peter waddled down just as the sun was setting.

"Alrighty. We're all here."

Peter nodded. "Should we transform?"

Sirius shrugged.

"Probably....." said Remus.

Peter changed into a rat.

Remus watched all of them morph.

James tossed his head.
