yeah. i tried it but you need a REALLY power full computer. i tried it at a friends house but it was so hard
Save two skins in a folder, I assume one for you and one for your brother. Before you open minecraft, simply change your skin for whoever is playing. Or, choose a neutral skin that you can both use
a good way to see what's going to be in future updates is to play the snapshots released usually weekly. :) currently 1.7 is being called the biome and fishing update
Its easy, create a new profile for the development versions by clicking the new profile button on the launcher.A window called "profile editor" should come up and check the box called "Enable experimental development versions ("snapshots")"
Then click the drop down box and select the version you would like to play!

I have no idea what the secret settings are. I'm going to assume its on of those secrets that really isn't a secret.
The secret settings change the view of it. It can go from 8-bit to Green, inverted, etc. Its so weird to mess with.

there are no viruses it is completely safe.... to get on to a server you click on multiplayer....then click on direct connect on the bottom and type in a server name you would like to go on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we should see each other on a server!

Ok, I just got a new laptop, but it's a windows 8. I heard it's not in the app store but u can still download it. Do any of u know for sure if minecraft will still work with windows 8? I don't want to pay $27 something if it doesn't work :/ But I reaaalllyyy want mc for my pc.
Windows 8 will not affect minecraft in any way unless you have restrictions on your computer. Minecraft is an application that doesn't require anything from windows 8 therefore there should be no problem unless you cannot download the .minecraft folder.
Giovanna wrote: "how do u install mods? i tried a youtube video but it was so confusing..."Yeah it kinda is...
Here are the steps to do that are super-duper easy
1) Download Magic Launcher for Minecraft
2) Download a Minecraft Mod that doesn't require Forge-Modloader.
3) Download Modloader (In most cases)
4) Open Magiclauncher and configure mods and find modloader hit add and make it the first mod in your list.
(Leave Magiclauncher Open)
5) Go find whatever mod you wanted to download and make sure it is a .zip file.
6) Open magiclauncher back open and search for whatever mod you downloaded and hit add.
7) Hit save and then run minecraft using Magiclauncher, not your actual minecraft folder.
8) Your Done :)
Note that I said don't use forge modloader. Magiclauncher said it should be compatible, but i have never found it working. (I ran into many, many, many, problems with it)
