There are risers and a small makeshift stage near the front of the classroom.

Megan (nightrunner) Rose looked through the music files, trying to find something she would like. The choir room was dark, but she could still see, there was enough light coming through the blinds to outline where she sat on the stage, a half circle of music spread wide around her.

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ Mason honestly had no idea what he was doing going towards the Choir room. He was in a good mood that day, fortunately for those around him, but he was also very bored. Which was probably why his mind was guiding him around the school to places he would not normally go. He poked his head into the Choir room and was about to leave when he saw Rose. "Hey, Rose." He said, coming into the room.

Megan (nightrunner) "Hello, would you help me, the choir teacher asked me to find a piece for our concert, but I can't make sense of this bloody mess," Rose begged, looking helplessly at the piles of music. This system of organization made no sense to her. She had been trying to sort through it for near an hour and was on the verge of tears.

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((didn't you say she was a Little Sister? Also, is she new to the school? I think you mentioned it somewhere else.))

message 6: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) ((yeah, she's a junior who happens to be a musical prodigy, if you want to read her over the full name is Melissa Rosalina Montague))

message 7: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((Yeah, I get that. But I'm confused on this (view spoiler) But is she a new student?))

message 8: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) ((pretty much, transfered this term. I think it's understandable why she would get in good with a choir teacher, but I can manipulate the situation if you want))

message 9: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((Oh, no. It wasn't that. I was just thinking that if she were so new I doubt she would get the position of Little Sister so quickly. If you get what I mean? I don't mean to be bitchy about it. I'm just trying to be 'logical' about it(?) Sorry...))

message 10: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) ((nbd, I understand, they approved me and I didn't question it))

message 11: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((I guess no one really noticed she was new? idk. I'm sorry I'm being so nit picky. I'm just trying to make sense of it. Perhaps she could be knew since the beginning of the year..?))

message 12: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) ((sure, idc, shall we continue?))

message 13: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((Yes. I apologize for my annoyingness. I'll reply in a moment))

message 14: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ "I guess. What are you looking for exactly?" Mason asked as he approached her, his eyes on the scattered sheets of music over a desk. He was unable to make sense of any of it as he was musically incapable. So he had no idea how Rose would expect him to be of any help with this. But he could try none the less. Mason didn't have much else to do anyhow.

message 15: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "I was thinking Vivaldi, but right now I would be happy with anything classic," Rose replied, "These ones on the right, I've already gone through them, do you think you could like, alphabetize them or something? I'm going to do these ones. I found a nice bach one, but... will, I'm almost going to settle for a Wicked melody if it gets me out of here faster."

message 16: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ "I can guarantee you that all those artists or composers or whatever, have no relevance to me. So I have no idea what it means. But I do know my ABC's, so I can organize those for you." He said, taking the pile from her hand gently and skimming through them to see what letters there were before setting them aside to organize. "So, what's this for again? A concert?"

message 17: by Megan (last edited Feb 19, 2013 06:57PM) (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "Yeah, a solo concert mostly, it's suposed to be a fundraiser to pay for the dj for the prom. She wanted to get one or two group pieces together and asked me if I would pick one from the files to have the group practice before we do the concert." Rose told him, "Hey, you wanna come?"

message 18: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ "That sounds pretty cool. And want me to come to the concert? Yeah, sure. That would be fun, I guess. When is it?" Mason asked as he started to organize each of the sheets in alphabetical order started with A and going down. Or up, however one looked at it. It was the alphabet so he didn't exactly care.

message 19: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "It's Friday," Rose answered, her stacks practically organizing themsleves with how quickly she worked. Finally she smiled, pulling a folder from the mess and letting out a small, "Success!"

Rose stood and made her way over to the piano, plunking out a few notes as she settled on the bench, pulling the music open and settling her hands lightly on the keys as she started to play.

message 20: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ Mason finished with organizing all the papers that he had take from the desk. He placed them back on the desk and sat down on the wheeled chair and spun around to face Rose as she placed her fingers on the piano and began to play. He watched her fingers moved across the piano keys, playing a beautiful melody.

Megan (nightrunner) Rose sighed, the music she had grabbed wasn't a choral piece, it was a piano part for Moonlight Sinata by Beethoven. She had set aside a Vivladi classic, Cum Sancto Spiritu a moment ago, but she couldn't resist the temptaion of the sinata, it was the first one she had learned how to play and oh how she loved it.

She closed her eyes, not needing the music, drifting through her mind, letting her mind and body fuse with the music and the keys, the vibrations of the strings hidden by the wooden exterior of the piano, Mason didn't know what he was missing. When she played the final notes she opened her eyes to look at Mason. "So, what do you do for fun?"

message 22: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ ((sorry.... >< ))

Mason had never been a fan of classical music so he zoned out of Rose's piano playing after a few moments. Though he had to admit that she was talented with the piano. Mason had played the piano once and that was happy birthday in the fifth grade when Music class was actually required and not an elective like it was now.

Mason's thoughts wandered around. He checked off the things that he had done. He had given Quinn her money. He had made sure his father's beer supply was full before he left. He would have lacrosse conditioning and then maybe he and the guys would hang out before he would head back home or crash at a friends. He was pulled out of his thoughts when the music stopped and Rose asked him a question. "Uh, sports mainly." He said simply.

message 23: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "Cool, like what?" Rose asked, shifting to the edge of the piano bench so that they were pretty much face to face. "I used to play volleyball, but I tore my ACL during a championship game. I was on crutches like, forever."

message 24: by Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ (new)

Sᴀᴅɪʏᴀ "I do football, wrestling, lacrosse and crew. I got a full ride to Boston University with football, wrestling and crew." Hr said with a simple shrug as if it were nothing. It wasn't like he was getting in for his grades. Mason was a C's and B's student and there were people with academic scholarships he was one going to college for his sports abilities and not academic ones. "Listen. I need to go. I'll talk to you later alright." Mason said as he saw the time. School was almost out and his meeting was about to start. He would be late. As usual. But it didn't matter. Hr was a 'Big Brother.'

message 25: by Megan (new)

Megan (nightrunner) "Oh, okay. If you ever need some help on almost anythng, don't hesitate to ask, I'm multitalented." Rose said with a troubled smile. "Have a good night."

Like always Rose would be left on her own, but ny now she was used to it. Rose spent all her time at home alone, she had no real friends at school. Maybe alone was all she would ever be.
