The Hunger Games RP discussion

As your plate rises up, you find yourself surrounded by forest. The Cornucopia sits in a clearing 50m away, containing weapons and medicine in the mouth, less important supplies as you get further from the Cornucopia. The trees in the forest are tall and thin, not suitable for climbing.

Beyond the forest, a two day's walk away, is a large mountain where a small pool of contaminated water waits. Some of the backpacks may contain the necessary equipment, but not all will.

If you're willing to risk the climb down a 25ft drop, you can find a cave in the heart of the mountain, filled with clean water. However, the only way out is a 25ft climb back up...


(You're outfit is like that from the movie (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)].
The backpacks will be filled with:
water
water bottles
dried foods
matches
a knife
rope
sleeping bag
torch
bandages
It's up to you what you have in your bag; but you can only choose three)

Fint's eyes darted around the arena as his plate rises up. Instead of taking in the view, he focused on the Cornucopia, biting his lip in anticipation. He spotted a set of three or four knives, not too far from the center. He set himself ready to run, bouncing on the balls of his feet.

Lola shifted slightly and Looked around for Nik as she rised out of the ground she remembered Her mentors word; Don't step off too early, you'll get blown, sky high. She got into the running position.

Logan shield his eyes. I'm so gonna die.He thinks and ready s himself.

Logan stared out over the Cornucpia, already seeing a few things he wanted to brab, some of the knoves for sure....


Lexi threw one glance at the Cornucpia but was looking at the area arond it. Run.. That's what she had to do, get as far away from the Cornicpia as she could...

As Arya's plate rising she has a sudden urge to cry." Only 1 makes it alive" She whispered.Her eyes darted around the arena. She decided not to go after the suppies,just run.

Lola took quick inventory and decided on a back pack. She also thinks of a weapon to take. Maybe crafting stuff.
Logan closed his eyes and waited.
Lola chokes back as scream. I can't do this, I'm only 12! A tear rolls down her cheek.

Jaymz shuffled his feet, unsure what to do. True, he was big, strong. But so were Nate and Rylan. Not to mention the careers...
He set his mind on going in. Either way, he needed supplies.

Arya held back tears.

Lola continues to look for Nik, she thinks about calling out. She swipes away her tear and looks over at Lexi. Good luck, She mouths.
Logan waits for some one too step off and explode. It always happens.

Lola takes a deep breath and gets ready to call out for Nik,
Logan is tempted to step off for a moment.

Nik takes a deep breath calming himself. He makes eye contact with Lola and nods as if to let her know its alright. Then he sees Zoee and gives her a reassuring smile. His heart pounding in his chest as he looks around.

((I'm so scared, even though Lola is going to live.))

Lexi gives a small smile although she was terrifeid, these games killed her brother last year...You too she mouths back.

Logan got ready to run to the Cornicpia.

((Oh gosh! Let me catch up! Lol.))

Lola sees Nik and smiles slyly at him. Together, She mouths. We run together She looks back at the Cornucopia and leans lower. she can feel a sprint of energy bursting in her.God, If you're real, help me!

Lola locked her eyes on Zoee for a second. She sensed something bad was going to happen to Zoee. I wish I could warn her! She then saves even more of her energy.

Lola got ready to run
Logan did a Lunatic smile

Arya didnt believe in God but she suddenly decided to pray and looked for Lily and Lexi.

Lexi saw Arya, giving a weak smile.

Lola lifted her feet slightly and waited. 1,0 She thinks. 1,0
Logan held out his arms in a momentary surrender.

Arya mouthed to Lexi"Its Going to be OK" and smiled at her.

...1..BOOM

Flint set off, almost simultaneously with the cannon. He was fast, he knew that, but he was small. He'd reached the backpacks, but left them where they were, going for his knives.

Arya sprinted off the plate and ran as fast as her legs allowed her. She quickly snatched a backpack and ran to the forest.((where are Lexi LIlly and Arya going to meet?))

Lola ran off like a flash. She grabbed a back pack and looked inside. Rope, water, matches. She looked for Nik and Quickly grabbed a bow that was sitting on a pile of things.

((Yes! Lila's climbing comes at an advantage!:) ))

Darius charged, straight for the cornocopia. Life or death, he knew, but he had to have materials. He wasn't nervous, but scared to death. He tries to keep his mindset off it.

Lila shuddered, trying to her a glance at the arena."Yes, climbing.." She muttered, her mood only slightly brightened from its scared to death mode. She heard the gong sound and stepped off her plate freezing. "No... I won't." Lila couldn't die, and wouldn't like a weakling. She plunged off the other way, towards the drop off.

Logan lept off the platform, running for the mouth of the Cornicopia, he needed a weapon.

Lexi juped, standing frozen for a second before throwing a glance around for her allies.

Link trembles slightly, then gets ready to run.


Nik holds his breath waiting for it to start. 'Moment of truth' he thinks.

Arya felt so stupid "A bow" she thought and scolded herself for forgetting a bow!

Logan started running, but tripped. He couldn't get up.

River jumped off her plate, blonde hair whipping back. She matched pace with Flint, grabbing an orange backpack on her way.

Seeing Arya, Lexi rushed over to her. She was terrified, she didn't want to die...

Lola yells. "Nik!" And then grabs some more loot. Stuff for a sling shot, another knife and arrows for her bow.

((Nik/Sierra, whenever your ready, please fight with Darius :P))

Arya grabbed Lexi's hand and ran off. She wanted to protect her."It's going to be ok. Lets find a place to hid first" she said to Lexi.

Nik ran twords the first backpack he sees and grabs it quickly, then runs twords Lola. "Lets go to the woods!" He tells her.

((Sierra, take care of Lola for me!))
Lola sees a boy and runs up behind him. She stabs her knife in his back and he falls to the ground, Lola slits his neck and then runs away. She grabs a back pack and stuffs it in her bag. She then grabs Nika and starts running. Then she remembers. "Zoee!" She shrieks.

She nodded, "Let's go."

Logan gets up and then looks for something to get. ((Some one, kill Logan L.))

Flint was about to grab his knives, when he was knocked over by Jaymz. He rolled over and grabbed something; a spear. He threw it, impaling the much larger boy in the neck. He gave off a small, cynical laugh and grabbed the knives, ready for his next victim.
First blood... was the only thing on his mind.

Arya ran with Lexi's hand in hers "please God" Arya thought.

River finally caught up with Flint, yelling, "Who do I kill first?"

Logan grabbed one knife off the ground and threw it at one girl. He didn't know who she was, just that she was from three.

Lila was a quick little thing. She glanced behind her, no followers. She sighed on relief and slowed down a bit. Seeing the drop off, she but her lip."I can do it." Lila told herself, certain.

Flint spots a boy searching for something. Without thinking, he throws a knife. It hits the boy straight in the chest. Having got the taste of blood, Flint threw another knife, this time in the forehead. He resisted the urge to throw another, this time looking for his new target; Nate.
