I write a lot of dark poetry, and stories about topics that aren't exactly heartwarming (death, heartbreak...)! What do you like to write about?

I write science fiction and magic realism with themes that range from inexperience/sudden unfamiliar situations to dark, oppressive atmospheres.

Both! Not only do I enjoy to read scifi, I also feel it's important to be familiar with what my readers enjoy.

I write some poetry. I wrote a winter poem that got first place and best of show at the county fair. But I mostly write historical fiction short stories.

i like writing mostly romance stories, but i also write horror.
i enjoy writing about paranormals too :3

I write dystopian short stories, generally dark poems, horror, cyberpunk, etc. I use really antiquated vocabulary usually. :D

I write what ever I'm feeling, know about, or just random things that pop into my head, im currently editing a story that i have worked on for the last two years.

I write romantic short stories.

I like to write short stories ranging from 20-50 pages. I can do any genre I put my mind too! I am trying horror currently and you can check out my story called

Wow that sounds cool! XD My dad acts and is really good at it so I have lots of scripts that I learn from. My computer desktop is filled with my stories! I'm going to try and put a few more up on GR!!!!

i write poetry, all kinds of poetry, things tht come to me or things tht people have said or i write about famous people tht have impacted me in some-way with their writing, that's what i write my poetry about, and you guys

i write poetry and things that just come to me, i'm going to post some-of my work on here for you all to read and comment on

I enjoy writing poetry and stories of any kind. I'm trying to improve on it, since I've been hit with writer's block and it hasn't really gone away, so my writing isn't too great right now.

Yes. In fact, I'm trying to write a poem for an assignment I have now.

I write novels. The genre depends on my mood. Right now I'm working on a charming fantasy novel, but I've also done some more dark fantasy, realistic fiction, darker realistic fiction, and have had inspiration for a sci-fi novel I never really actually put into the works.

I must edit what I wrote earlier about my writing.

Really, I mostly write historical fiction novels (or try to - I'm terrible at finishing what I start). I also am working on developing the plot for a secret agent/spy/murder mystery novel that I've titled "Firefox". I have a Pinterest board dedicated to it to help me visualize the characters, which you can find here:

If you look around my other boards, you'll also find boards dedicated to my Roman story (End of the Fight) and the Robin Hood story I'm co-authoring (Escape to Sherwood).

*with my poems i try not to write too dark of a poem, when i do then i think of the worst thing that ever happended to me

Anything and everything inspires me to write! xD Most of the time I write poetry to vent (fun stuff :3). Beyond that, I'm working on a number of novels ranging from dystopian to medieval fantasy!

I like to write stories and poems

I write anything except sports stories. Most of my ideas have some sort of psychological element to them--mental disabilities, good VS. evil, that kind of stuff.

I write short stories, I guess literary fictional would be the general genre as I don't subscribe to any specific genre. It's fun to explore all the different genres that my stories wind up in!

I write a variety of things, but mainly fanfictions for my favorite couplings (typically from anime).

Almost all of my fanfics are for Yaoi couplings! (If you don't like that, I can respect that. Just don't go on self-righteous rants about it.)

I typically stick to:

*fluffy romance
*freestyle poetry

But I have also written quite a bit of:

*angst
*mystery
*fantasy
*songfics
*horror
