Starbase Atlanta discussion

Bridge

Jamie sat in her seat, and watched, through the main window, as stars whizzed by. Her ship was escorting the starbase from the front, as it moved through space, and she was hoping they wouldn't run into any scurge.

Jack was in his usual place his pilot seat made just for him. His tail wagged behind him and hus ear were perked up. He had the ship on auto pilot as there is nothing to see yet. Jack leaned back and puthis hands behind his head and stretched he hadnt been able to leave for a small bit.

Jamie stood up, and smiled at her officers. "I am going to call in some food, anyone else want anything?" She offered, as she walked over to the call console.

Jack raised his hand quickly"Could i have some fish Captain?"he asked politely but excited. He loved when food would be delivered all the smells and aromas that filled the room. His tail wagged quick at the thought of it.

She nodded happily. "Of course, we always have fish, I mean both of us love it." She said before pushing the call button. "Hello Mess Hall staff, bring us the usual, with extra fish please."

Jack clapped happily"hehe yay"he said. He turned his attention to the radar up above the large window it showed an astroid belt ten miles out. It was still enough time for them to eat though they were only at cruising speed. Jack stood and stretched out his back. He cpuldnt wait for the food to be delivered.

Jamie smiled at her officers again. "Today, we feast like kings and queens, but more violently!" She joked.

Jacks mouth began to get watery. He had to sit down all this talk about food began to get him worked up. He grabbed the wheel to calm himself down.

The door opened, and Kasha wheeled in about 10 carts full of food. She stood there saluting them, and smiling.

Jack almost passed out from the sight of the carts. He jumped up about four feet from his chair and walked to the carts he saluted Kasha "thanks for bringing in this stuff"he said smiling widely.

Jamie walked over and smiled. "Alright everyone dig in." She announced before taking a few whole fishes, and putting them on her plate.

Jack took a plate and took the bigfest salmon there he then got a few other things also. He went to a table and sat down with some water.

She set her plate down, next to his, and took a seat. She smiled at him, and started to eat, happily.

Jack smiled back and ate politley around his captain when really he wanted to pick his fish up and naw on it like the cat ge is.

She started to gnaw on her fish, happily, as the rest of the bridge officers watched her, and laughed.

Jack ate and then looked at herhe smiled"i guess you like it then huh?"jack finished his peice quickly and patted his stomach after drinking some arm milk.

She nodded, purred, and brushed some hair out of Jack's eyes.

Jack smiledclosing his eyes and cocking his head to the side"thank you"he says to her.

She smiled and nodded. "You're welcome Jack."

Jack put his plate back onthe cart happily stretching his back and purring his tail was fully extended to the air.

She put her plate back as well, and then took her seat in the captain's chair.

When jack was done he looked at the radar and quickly took his seat"we have an astroid belt very near"he announced out loud.

She nodded. "Go above the belt, the other ships will follow."

"Yes Captain"jack said he pulled up on the wheel and clicked a few buttons for changing corrodiantes.

Something red whisked by the ship.

"It looks like we have movement on the radar Captain...are the scurge supposed to be outgere?"jack asks pulling up side views of the ship.

"No, that must just have been something else. Besides, the scurge are blue, remember?"

I nod"i must be out of my mind"i joked a little. We had finally got above the astroid belt and were able to cruise normally.

"I hear the Sura Queen will be paying us a visit shortly, so please be on your best behaviour, or no fish next time."

Meanwhile in another place....

Val, the sura queen, waited patiently for the ship to arrive on the Ironhorse. She shufted in her seat into a more comfortable position. She looked over at the human male. "How long till we get there?" She asked him

Jack nods"Yes captain anything for fish"i stand and excuse myself to use the bathroom. It had comletely slipped my mind i came back out"you said QUEEN?!?"He says this yelling at the last part.

"Just a few more minutes, your highness." He told her.

Jamie brushed her hair, with her hand, so she would look at least a bit presentable. She got herself mentally prepared for the Queen's arrival.

"Alright." She sighed and tightend her cloak around her body, adjusting herself into a suitable position to rest, and closed her eyes while sighing peacefully as she slowly drifted to sleep.

Jack went back to hos chair clamly his tail swiftly moving back and forth. He grabbed the wheel and began to pilot againI cant beleive a queen is going to actually be on the ship but i wonder why?he thought to himself.

The small ship docked with the Ironhorse, after a few minutes.

Jamie walked over and unlocked the door. She knelt down and waited for the queen to emerge from the craft.

Val stood from her seat and walked to the the door, opening it and stepping out. Her green hair flowing gently behind her as she walked to wher theyoing girl was kneeling. "You may stand." She spoke

Jamie stood up. "Hello your highness." She said as respectfully as possible.

"Hello dear child, who might you be?" She asked as she made her way to stsnd infront of her.

"I am just the captain of this vessel. Captain Jamie Fox of the Ironhorse at your service." She said, as she bowed, respectfully.

"I am Val, Queen of the sura realm. You may call me Lady Val if u want." She said and smiled

She nodded. "Yes, Lady Val. As you can see, we are the best ship the humans have at their disposal."

"Yes i can see that." She said looking at the well inforced ship
"I hope that the children will be well here."

"I will be monitoring all contact the current crew has with the children, and will make sure it is nothing but positive. I will personally see to that." She told Val.

"Thank you, miss Jamie." She smiled

Jamie smiled back. "You're very welcome."

A little girl, with large raspberry blue wings, white cat ears, and a white cat tail, walked over, and hid behind a chair. She was terrified of meeting new people.

Val smiled. She noticed the small child and waved. "Hello! Who might you be?" She asked walking towards the child.

The little girl stepped out. "I-I am Daniella Mon Reichbusch. I am the head of operations on the ship." She said, seeing that the woman was a queen.
