ags The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) by Jessica Sorensen Sins & Needles (The Artists Trilogy, #1) by Karina Halle My ADHD goes into hyperdrive after I read a wonderful story and then must wait up to a year, sometimes, to read the next book. So,I try to wait until the whole series is published. I'm worried, that if other readers do the same, does the author get the impression that because the first book didn't "sell" as expected, the rest of the series is abandoned?

*~*~~*~reading~**~till~**~forever*~~*~* i usually try to do the same... I can't deal with not knowing and I hate making assumptions... But, I don't think that would be a problem; The series will be published once it has started so I don't think that you should worry...

Lisa Honestly you need to read the book. It'll take you on a journey! I know the feelings of wanting to wait for the whole series but the goodness of The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden is a must read now sorta book.

Yolanda Callie and Cayden was awesome, the cliff hanger? One of the worst i've came across and now we have to wait a year. Not good.

Lisa Yeah, it was abrupt but after I stewed it over I just made my own ending. All the stuff before was so spectacular! When I did hit the end I had to go back ad make sure I wasn't missing the rest of the book. Lol

~*Lindsey*~ If you go to Jessica Sorensen's blog she gives some sneak peaks to the next book, it helps ease the whole dliff hanger. But, I am so mad I have to wait so long for the next one. I have been trying to only read series, where they are all or at leats the first two(if there are more than 2) out.

Jenn This book was so good the cliffhanger killed me, i need the second book asap even tho i dont know when is the release! but i loved it

Erika Hernandez I Have to go to auther blog, but this book was the worst cliffhanger because it left me with a wtf look. i heard the next book wont be out till 2014....uggghh.

Ifrah I have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers. They're great when I'm reading them but the waiting kills me.

Alicia I understand that cliffhangers are sometimes nessesary. I actually can live with them as long as the book is coming out soon!.....but lately it seems like authors just want to torture you....no cover yet...no release date....no blurb....like seriously a year.....Really?....aahhhh

Go the the authors FB or website. She has some teasers for the next book. Maybe that will keep you happy in the meantime.

Eva There is No Light in Darkness (Darkness, #1) by Claire Contreras Talk about abrupt cliffhanger have you guys read this one yet? When I finished it, in one sitting mind you, I was left with my mouth open and fanatically searching the authors blog for any life raft to keep me afloat. A total must read even if she leaves us hanging until this summer.

Warpedmind I hate/love cliffhangers too... After a cliffhanger I search the authors website to find out when the next book is comming out. If it is soon, I put it in my phone calendar to remind me. If they make you wait a year it just pisses me off. (LOL) I'm already waiting on Reckless, and Perfect Summer for March.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will give this book a try! I love recommendations. I was lost after reading Fifty Shades of Grey until I found Ana's Attic book Blog last year. Now all I do is look for exciting books to read!!! So Recommendations are excellent! Thanks!

Oh my gosh.. i know what you mean about this one!!! When i read the last paragraph i had that stupid WTF JUST HAPPENED HERE? look on my face.. i looked around in shock, awe, and disbelief. I'm still stunned to be honest with you and i read this weeks ago!!

deb22luvsbooks I hate, hate, hate cliffhangers ESPECIALLY when you have close to a years wait for what happens next. I also will wait to read a book if I know that in advance. I think maybe some authors have turned to series type books to keep the books of a smaller size, plus it also generates more income. The other reason I really hate it is because I read so many books that if the next installment does not come out within a reasonable amount of time, I feel like I need to revisit the first book in order to remember everything I need to remember before I read the following installment. This feels like such a waste for me. I don't mind as much when the books are a series where a different characters is highlighted in each book...it is easy to go back and relate as the story is still feeling "new".

I agree with you... I do the exact same thing. I re-read the old book to get ready to read the next book in that series or sequel or whatever. I also found that when they are trying to do the series book, the 3rd book in the series is usually not good. And I hate when an Author tells you a date when the next book is coming out and then (BAM!) change it to a later date. You get all set up for one date and excited about it and then out of no where they change the date and you are stuck being pissed with nothing to do about it! I'm just complaining to get it off my chest!!!!

Shantel The sequel to The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden will be out in August not in 2014 which is the paperback publication date. But I do hate cliffhangers if I have to wait for a long time to read the next book or if they are too big of a deal kind of like this one was but like it was said earlier there were some spoilers on the blog that gave a glimpse of what will be in the next book.

I'm not a fan of spoilers either though....It just makes me mad that I still have to wait for the rest of the story. I rather not get it in bits and pieces.

Megan I didn't think the cliff hanger was that bad. I read the book, yet never recommended it. I think since I wasn't the biggest fan of this, I wasn't on my seat counting down the days of the next book. I still will read book 2 even though we can assume what will happen.

Tonya The ending was awesome and I didn't realize before I read the book that the next one wouldn't be out until I was in the nursing home... Well, needless to say, we are waiting to purchase the next book. I think this one would make a great movie. Move over Nicholas Sparks because you have yourself a little competition.

LoL.. Nursing home, now that's funny.

Sally I usually wait for a series to be at least half way finish before I start to read it. It's like an itch that can't be reached when waiting for the next book to be released especially when you are connected to the characters and fall in love with the authors words... but I absolutely love The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden and I just finished the other day. The next will be out this summer so it's not that long of a wait fir me.
