The Mystics discussion

Jewel went over and found her sword, she walked over to the dummy and started doing her drills. she was there for over an hour breaking up a sweat, before she heard a noise behind her

"Sorry I'm late, I overslept." Tomlin explained sheepishly as he came up behind Jewel.

Jewel turned around," oh yer i could tell, i would of came to get you up but i lost track of time". sword still in her hand she walked over and graved her drink and wiped the sweat off her face

((sorry i was in class))

(Its cool, I'm just watching stuff on netflix)

"I was having this great dream, bet you can't bet what its about." He said, his lips curling up lazily.

"oh well im guessing its to do with me?" she asked him with a cheeky grin

((Ok schools finished))

"Maayybee," Tomlin said, drawling. He abruptly grimaced, "and unfortunately it ended rather suddenly when And came screeching into me room."

Jewel laughed," would you tell me, and why did she do that?" Jewel said taking another drink but still looking at him

"To answer your questions yes it may have been about us and who knows? Its And, everything she does is a mystery." Tomlin said, shrugging and pulled his sword from its scabbard at his waist.

"True", jewel smiled at the thought that he dreamed about her, most of jewels dreams were black and painful. She put up her sword towards him," your ready"

"A better question is, are you?" Tomlin replied arrogantly and got into stance.

Jewel lunged at him her sword going at him

Tomlin sidestepped and used the flat of his blade to deflect Jewel's sword, the metal ringing as the point of her sword ran the length of his. When she was close he smiled, "going to have to do better than that."

"Oh i plan to,dome you worry" she smiled a wicked grin. Jewel spun around and upper cuted his sword in a easy blow, moving his sword out of the way of his chest so their hands and swords were above there heads

"If you wanted the swords out of the way you could have just told me." Tomlin said and brushed his lips against hers.

Jewel kissed him back and quickly moved so that she knocked his swordout of his hand and brought her leg around so that he was knocked flat on his back.she pointed her sword at his chest."never let the enemy get the better hand of you, never show weakness", then she leaned down and kissed him

Tomlin knocked the sword out of the way and wrapped his arms around her then twisted so he covered her with his body. He kissed her fiercely before pulling back and sitting up so that she was pinned beneath him. "Who said this was a weakness?"

Jewel laughed and tried to get up without any luck,"well tell me, if someone tried to hurt me and i was defenseless to stop them what would you do?" She asked him questionly looking up at him

"Stop them." Tomlin said immediately and simply.

"See that there is a weakness, you would put your self in danger to help me,and the enemy could use that against you", she took his hand as she spoke to him

"I still don't see that as a weakness, I see that as coming to the aid of the woman I love. I would do the same for Andromeda or anyone who didn't deserve to be hurt or killed." Tomlin said, shaking his head as he pulled her up.

Jewel stared at him and smiled," you just said you loved me" eyeing him questionly

"So I did and so I do." He said unwaveringly, all the while his chest clenched. Some part of him and no small part, was terrified that he had said too much or that the day before hadn't been real. He would give her the benefit of the doubt though before acting like a kicked puppy.

Jewels grin widened as far as it would go, her heart pained her when she heard those words,she jumped straight up and kissed him with as much passion as she could manage. She pulled back for the quickest second and replied," I love you too", she had a tear fall down her face

Tomlin brushed her tear away, took a ragged breath, and closed his eyes. A big part of him was sagging with relief, Jewel was different. He knew she was, but this was a confirmation that went beyond his gut feeling. Still there was a very small part of him that was just waiting for her to change her mind, to decide a relationship wasn't worth the effort. That he wasn't worth the effort.

Jewel felt like she had never been happier, Tomlin could probably have any girl he wanted, but he had chosen to love her. The relief in her washed over her as she closed her eyes and hugged him around the waist and kissed him

He kissed her passionately until he heard a few sharp intakes of breath which turned into hissing noises. Tomlin pulled back and looked for the sourced of the noises. He held back a laugh when he found the source, Jewel is not going to be too happy about this. He thought as a handful of shocked stares looked at the two leaders. He cleared his throat and said, "welcome to your first day of training soldiers."

(I have school tomorrow and I need some sleep, so I'll post again tomorrow. 'K?)

Jewel spun around and her eyes went wide, there before her was the girls training group. She looked back up at Tomlin and glared at him' thanks for the heads up'. When she looked back at the girls the were giving her death stares,'great this is just what I need at the moment'.

((Aww ok yer I just understand I had school today, night Melissa))

"Sorry about that," Tomlin whispered. "I didn't know they'd be here so early."

Jewel sighed, to late now to change the story." Before we start you will all need to do your warm up, stretches and a quick jog". Jewel stepped away partly from Tomlin

"After warm ups we can move onto combat training." Tomlin added before they started.

Jewel saw that they hesitated," well get to it" jewel said in a annoyed tone as they glared at her

"Well that went well I think." Tomlin said with a funny look on his face.

Jewel hit him in the arm," yer the whole girl division hate me", she sighed and rubbed her temple

"Well that's better than what the male division feels." He replied bitingly.

Jewel opened her eyes," the male division knows? Great what do they think" she was shocked

"They don't know yet, which is what worries me. Jewel you are a beautiful woman Those men all think you're single. Do the math, where do you think their thoughts are when you are in the same vicinity?" Tomlin said reproachfully.

"None of the men like me, and I'm not beautiful your the only one who thinks that. I've never even glanced at them that way" jewel said looking down taking his hand," it won't be long till they find out though"

Tomlin shook his head, "how can you even think you aren't beautiful? And just because you weren't lookin' doesn't mean they weren't."

Jewel smiled," I just don't see myself that way. They might of been but I've never noticed and I've been around them a lot". The thought that the men liked her was absurd to her

Tomlin got a data away look in his eyes and muttered, "just because you are around someone doesn't mean you know them."

Jewel looked at him confused," and what's that suspoto mean?" She asked him questionably

He blinked as if confused then shrugged, "nothing and even if it did it certainly doesn't mean what you think it does." He didn't want her thinking he thought she didn't know him, nor did he want her thinking he didn't know her. Even if they didn't, there would be time for them to figure everything out.

Jewel worried about what he said but acted like she let it go,"so what are we going to put them through them today" she was trying to go through plans for the girls

"I have a feeling things might go a bit smoother if I give the orders today, there is a lot of resentment in the air right now. Of course its up to you, I don't care either way." He said, fingering the pommel of his sword.

Jewel sighed there was no way the girls would listen to her any more," I guess I can't send you away then today, I'm going to need you to much"

"In more ways than one." Tomlin said with a crooked smile.
