Sarah trotted through the woods, her coat keeping her warm in the cool air and keeping her safe from the sharp bushes. She scouted the area, looking out for any vampires. Her lips curled up in a snarl at the thought of them. She hated them and would kill any on sight. She saw it as her duty to keep the humans safe, and she would not fail in it. She leapt over a log, which would've been fine if not for the fact that she didn’t pick her back paws high enough to clear it. She tumbled head over heels in the grass, getting a mouthful of dirt as she did so. She stood up, spitting out the dirt and glaring at the log.

She hoped that Scott wasn't near, but that hope vanished when she heard chuckling. She turned her glare from the log to Scott. "You think that's funny? Why don't you go try to leap over it yourself, Chuckles," she said. If he took up the challenge and failed, she'd laugh her head off. If he succeeded, well, she didn't know what she would do.
Well, now she couldn't laugh her head off since he made it without falling. Sarah sat down and scratched her ear with a back paw. "So I'm going to go find a deer to hunt down. Want to join me?" She asked.
Sarah smiled. "I would've loved to see that," she said, jokingly. She set off at a trot, but not before shaking the dirt out of her fur. No use carrying it around in her fur. She really didn't want to go for a swim in the lake and risk drowning. As a wolf, she could probably swim. As a human, she'd drown, there was no doubt. "So how are you today?" She asked, trying to start a friendly conversation.
"I'm doing fine. Well, except for school. Math's kicking my butt. I cannot for the life of me, understand algebra," she said, scanning the woods as they walked, looking for both vampires and deer. "Think we'll find a deer today?"
"Thanks for the offer. I might just take you up on that," Sarah said. Her sensitive ears picked up on hooves and she crouched down. She didn't know if it was deer, horse, or cow hooves, but she wasn't going to leap at it before she knew what it was. She tried to scent the air to see if she could smell what it was, but it was upwind, so that their scent was blowing towards it.
Sarah crept slowly after him, hoping that the deer or whatever it was, wouldn't come running towards them. Granted, that would make killing it a bit easier, but she wouldn't be thrilled with it charging towards them. Unfortunately, the hoofed animal came running towards them. She thought it was a deer before it came into her view. She was wrong. It wasn't a deer, but a bull. And an angry one at that. Oh crap, she thought. "We might want to run now," she told Scott, desperately hoping that he wouldn't try to take it down.
"Idiot," Sarah muttered as she leapt out of the bull's way. She didn't want to kill the bull. She was sure that it belonged to a farmer. If he found out that his bull had been killed, then no doubt that he would send a hunting party for them. And for a while, they wouldn't be able to go to the woods. "Hey Scott, how about we leave it alone and go find another animal to hunt?" She suggested, nipping at the cow's hind legs to get it running back in the direction it'd come.
When the bull had left, she turned back to Scott. Her tail wagging, she bounded in a circle around him. "Ready to go find a deer? Maybe we'll have better luck this time," she said. She bounded closer, her face nearly in his. "Hey, turn that frown upside down." Was she normally like this? No. But the recent events caused her adrenaline to start pumping, making her somewhat hyper, as if she ate too much candy.
"Great!" She said and took off after him. She caught up to him and matched him stride for stride, easily keeping pace with him. She searched for the telltale signs of deer, but didn't see any yet. Hopefully they'd catch one. But if they didn't, there was always tomorrow. Sarah preferred to look on the bright side.
Sarah followed him, trusting his hearing. Maybe they were getting lucky. She stopped beside him, ears flicking back and forth, trying to hear the hooves. Her nostrils flared as she took in the scents around her. While her eyesight in wolf form was better than as a human, her nose and ears were much better and more effective.
Startled, Sarah took a step back until she realized he was going for the deer. Shaking her head to clear it, she charged after him. She leapt at the deer and sank her jaws in its neck, clamping down hard. She could already taste the blood that it would soon loose.
Sarah let go of the deer's neck and stepped back. Her tail wagged as she looked at Scott. She was glad that they found a deer. After patrolling all day, she was starving.
Sarah snorted. She was always hungry after a full days patrol. Without answering him, she stepped forward and started to tear into the deer. While she liked steak and pork, nothing compared to the taste of venison. That was her favorite meat.
Sarah dove into the meat with relish. While normally, she'd never eat raw meat, as a wolf, she craved it. She put it down to the fact that that was how wolves ate. After she'd eaten her fill, she stepped back, licking her chops, and rubbing her muzzle on the grass to get the blood off.
Sarah looked at Scott when he was done. "What should we do know?" She asked. She was up for anything at the moment, and didn't care what they did. She just wanted to do something.
Anne wandered up behind Scott. She dragged her fingers across his neck, hopefully giving him a feeling of being doused in water.
Sarah looked at Scott strangely as he jumped. It wasn't until she looked up that she saw the poltergeist. She took a step back, a little shocked. She'd never met a poltergeist before. She tilted her head as she heard that she had died here. That was new. Maybe the poltergeist was the reason that no one came in here. "What's your name? I'm Sarah," she said.
"Yep, I'm a werewolf. My parents don't know, but every kid has secrets," Sarah said. "And you're a poltergeist, right?"
"That's better than what I can do," Sarah said. "If I were a poltergeist, I would prank everyone I saw." She wasn't lying. She honestly would.
"I don't know about you, but that's kind of creepy," Sarah said, shuddering as she imagined what it felt like.
Anne disappeared for a moment, only to reappear leaning next to his ear. "If you change your mind..." she murmured.
