I read The Book Thief in my English class last year, and I have tons of notes in the margins. So, my copy is pretty used up, but I'm looking forward to reading it again. It's one of my favorites!
Haha, to be honest, I had never heard of The Book Thief until yesterday, when Cassie and I chose to have it as the Group Read. I look forward to reading it, too, as I've heard great things about it.
Starting in March, we'll be holding nominations for the Group Read, so try and think about what YA book you'd like to see read here and be sure to add it to the list when it gets posted! :)

So, in an attempt to lure more people to our awesome group, I've made a few changes!
First of all, we have a pretty banner and now have a Banner Challenge that you can find on the homepage. In addition, I changed the group name to something a little more catchy.
I hope you guys like the changes!

Hi guys!
So, since I finished our new look, I posted a new poll asking you all if you would be interested in additional Group Reads (seeing as we typically finish early) and it seems as if we all wanted at least one more! So from now on, we'll be having TWO books of the month!
But I thought I'd pose a new question for you guys. Instead of just choosing two books, I was thinking we could choose two DIFFERENT types of books. One, which is more dystopian/paranormal (since that's what's dominating the YA market at the moment) and one that is more contemporary/real life. I thought this would be good to help reach out to all members' likes. Would you guys be interested in something like this? Be sure to post and let me know what you think - or you can always PM me, too!
Also, I just recently found out how to make challenges for the group and I also think they're super fun, so on the same day the next month's BotM are announced, I'll post a new month-long challenge, that way you all can decide which book you'd like to read for the challenge next month!
Remember, you don't have to participate in any of this to be a member, but it's always more fun to read along with others!
Hope you guys like the new ideas! Give your two cents here!

Congos. This group completed their 100 members. So happy for the mods they really did a hard job. And that's a coincidence that u guys are having a giveaway. It's like a 100 members celebration. WOOT WOOT :)
I'm very happy for this group. It has only 6 members left to complete its 200 members. All three of the mods worked really hard to continue this group. The members have increased drastically within weeks. Congos guys. WOOT WOOT. :D
Not too long ago, this was a tiny group that didn't have much activity on it. I love how big this has gotten in such a short amount of time. :)
All the giveaways end today (Wednesday, 5/29), so be sure to post by tonight if you want a chance at winning free eBooks! :D
My new YA timetravel adventure romance, Fast Track to the Past, is now available as an ebook on B&N and Amazon. A paperback is also availabe on Amazon. I'd like to know if anyone would like to choose this book for one of the upcoming months. The story involves a 16 year old girl who travels back to 1888 Minnesota, months after the Children's Blizzard of 1888, in order to solve a mystery and find her father.I will check into getting a short link tomorrow, and in the meantime, Fast Track to the Past can be found under the name Joan Karen Maze.
33 members more then this group will complete 400 members. Mods you guys should do something special for that!! :D
You have to enter a giveaway if our dear mods conduct that. There's one more option, there're groups in which authors give ebooks for reviewing . You've to post reviews on GR for the books that you'll get .

Thanks
