Well, Nina, it might be good for a Senior Citizen newsletter. LOL
But I thank you for your kind words.

The Uninvited Guest
Oh,flu
why cans't thou flee
For I have had
my fill of Thee
The gift
Thou brought
Cares't not I
for fever to burn
Now be forewarned and on Thy way
for soon 'twill be chaotic
IF on this day
Thou chance to meet
up with my Aunty Biotic.

Here's the poem:
=====================================================
POEM - OLD & INDISPOSED
Bad back, bad knees; I itch, I sneeze.
Sometimes I sweat; sometimes I freeze.
With food my stomach disagrees,
I'm very often ill at ease.
Constipation plagues my day,
And my hair's in disarray,
I'm in a state of slow decay...
Please don't ask how much I weigh.
My memory isn't any good.
I often am misunderstood.
They tell me I should do some good.
Golly, gee, I wish I could.
Discomfort is my daily plight
And there's no relief in sight.
They say I'll be good as new.
Golly, gee, I hope that's true.
I'm sorry to complain so much.
But soon I'm gonna need a crutch!
I'm always going to the loo...
But tell me, darling, how are YOU?
