I started this a couple of weeks ago, but then got side-tracked by another work. I seem to be a bit hyperactive with my reading and get distracted too easily. I do want to get back to this one soon though.
I read it when I was quite a lot younger, and I remember enjoying it. There was a part towards the end that I don't think I really understood, though, so it's on my list of books to re-read as soon as I get chance.
I did find the protagonist a bit whingey, but I really sympathised with her by the end. I remember feeling the same way about
, which actually really affected me in the end. I still think of it from time to time now.

What did you think?
The protagonist's self indulgent character really started to grate on me at the start but when she started to have real problems suddenly I found that I wanted to read on. I also knew that if I read half of the book and put it on hold then I might not go back to it again (I also didn't want to have to reread the first half if I had too long a gap).
