Riverview discussion

Biz Comix is a small neighborhood comic book shop at the end of the road for the apartment buildings. It is among a small strip mall next to the buildings that is a quiet place. It is very convenient for the apartment-dwellers as well, since it's for the people of the neighborhood only and is very close.

Garret stands behind the counter of the store reading a copy of Alan Moore's Watchmen and breathing heavily.

Lucas and Annabelle walked hand-in-hand into the bookstore. Lucas wore his ripped blue jeans and a white T. Annabelle wore a pair of shorts and an orange T.

Annabelle headed over to the Superman and Superwomen stuff. She picked up a comic she hadn't read yet and smiled to herself. She mainly read these because she liked to draw fan art of them, but they were still quite interesting.

Lucas stood at the Batman shelf and picked out a new comic he hadn't seen before. He walked over to Annabelle and said, "You should really check out Batman."

"I have! Any you know it! You know I like the villains. It's just that Batman kinda annoys me. With him being so emotional. 'Ahaha my parents died. I'm going to mope over this for the rest of my life now.' It's just weird," she said making her voice all deep and weird when she pretended to be batman. "Anyways Poison Ivy, Catwoman, that Joker dude and his girlfriend. They're cool." She flashed him a big smile. Causing him to burst into laughter.

"Whatever. You'll still have to read this. And what about Robin and Batgirl?"

"What? Is the theme like flying animals?" She laughed. Hooking her arm around Lucas's they walked to the cashier to buy their comics.

Garret puts down the book he was reading and says

"Welcome to Biz Comics my name is Garret"

He awkwardly points at his name tag pinned to his plaid shirt.

"How can I help you?"

Annabelle and Lucas laid their comics on the counter. "Could we um.. buy these please?" Lucas asked.

"Of course!" He exclaims.

Garret scans the barcodes on the comics.

"Cash or card?" he asks trying to avoid eye contact with Annabelle. He was not used to such an attractive woman coming into the store.

((How many comics were they buying?))

"Cash," Lucas answered pulling out his wallet. "How much?"

((Sorry I've been really busy with work lately. Being an adult sucks.))

"Eight dollars." He rings it up on the counter and not being able to help himself, steals some glances at Annabelle.

((Haha it's okay. Being a student sucks too. But I got a teeny bit sick so I was able to fake a huge thing. And I got to skip too days! :D And we already had Wednesday off, so I had a 5 day weekend! Yay! :P But I didn't get any work done and I'm rushing to finish my essay now. Thankfully one of my teachers isn't here today, so I don't have to hand that one in.))

Lucas took out 8 dollars and handed it to him with a smile.
"Thanks," Annabelle said flashing him a smile and grabbing the bag.
