Oh wow, I almost started going through Proverbs instead of Psalms! Great book. Good stuff in there.
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Excellent. I used to have that on my answering machine.
Just flipped my Bible open and fell upon Proverbs 10:12.
"Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers up all wrongs."
ALL wrongs. Just as God covered up everything we have done with His loving choice to save us, so we are called to forgive everyone for what they do. Love can be our entire attitude, if we choose it. The problem is, we can be easily hurt if we open ourselves up to love so easily. People, who are not acting is such a loving way, will take advantage of us by using us until they don't need us anymore. Or they will make fun of us. (Ouch!) But don't give up! Loving others, even when they don't show honest love in return, is ALWAYS the right way to live. Jesus loved even the Pharisees who were trying so hard to hurt and destroy him. In the end what will you wind up with? A God who is pleased, and people who know who you truly are and what you stand for. "They will know we are Christians by our love..." :)

PS- About that too, you will attract other loving people and have true friends. You will be able to recognize it in others and be attracted to it yourself. Then you will know how to find someday find a man who will live a life honoring to God, and would make a great husband. :)
Wow, that was GREAT advice, thx! I actually needed to hear that! :P
