((Woah! Nice pics!))Katherine walked across the bridge that led to Raylin's hideout, feeling secure now that she was in her own style of clothing. Jax seemed to walk by her side as she approached the balcony. Her eyes seem to shimmer in the the sunlight as she approached.
Raylin hadn't figured out how to get water and gas pipes up here, so he had a towel draped across his shoulders and swim trunks on. "Can you swim?" He called to her.
Katherine's eyes grew suspicious of what he had planned. Of course he would take this day. She would have to find a way to Jacob later. "Of course!" She nodded and Jax barked to agree that he could do himself to.
Katherine jumped onto the bridge he was, rolling onto the ground and standing, not bothering to go onto the balcony first. "Alright," she muttered, her eyebrows raised as she kept close behind.
"Yes, I was swimming with Jane and we hid an extra pair at the lake." Katherine replied honestly. She remembered her and Jane laughing and smiling at their smart idea and hiding them just before Jev found them and ordered them back to train.
What are you up to Raylin? Katherine thought inwardly, narrowing her eyes at Raylin's back. "I can go quickly and grab it." And leave a note for Jacob too. Perfect.
"Sure. Meet me back here in ten minutes." Raylin told her, leaning against the rail.((Can I make a new topic?))
Katherine went to her hideout, having put another one of the dresses over a blue swimsuit. She looked to Jax. "What now do you suppose?" She hadn't seen Raylin anywhere.
Katherine muttered something that sounded somewhat like a curse as she strode to where he was, making a face at him as Jax leapt to the bridge and Katherine gracefully followed.
Katherine gestured to herself. "What do you think?" She asked sensibly, a hint of smugness in her words even as she neared him.
Raylin rolled his eyes and lead her down the bridges and through the wood until the sound of a thousand hooves rang in their ears, and he smirked.
Katherine stilled, her eyes narrowing at the path ahead. "Where are we going Raylin?" Her tone was demanding and stubborn. She stood still, crossing her arms suspiciously. It was obvious she wasn't leaving until she knew where the hell he was going.
Raylin looked at her. "Isn't it obvious?" He asked, before pulling aside a branch to reveal the waterfall and a bridge across it.
Katherine looked at the waterfall, walking slowly toward it, mesmerized by the sight as she strode in front of Raylin.((post there?))
**************************Katherine Frey bit her lip, anxiety in her completely as she approached the stairwell. The ways he left no doubt left Raylin in a fiery mood and she didn't like the fact that their bet was long lasting to this moment. If he told her not to move, even with an arrow at her neck, she would have to oblige. She kept her honor... that and if she ran, he would probably shoot her.
Raylin's voice drifted from somewhere in the forest, though it wasn't coming from his sanctuary. A guitar hummed with him, a sorrowful melody mixed with a longing voice. It was haunting, and with the way the trees manipulated sound, it was almost impossible to pinpoint where the solemn music was coming from.
Katherine decided it was time to take a risk. Her lips parted as she called out, "Raylin!" The heard the sorrowful music and couldn't help the stab of a humane emotion in her heart. Guilt. It seemed to slow her down as she called out his name again, looking for the dark predator eyes that she grew found of, finding the hidden emotions in them.
The music stopped and all that was left in the air were the sounds of the forest- wings of birds, the rustle of tree leaves, birds calling to each other through the branches. It was as if Raylin had disappeared completely.
Katherine had to believe he was still here, just listening to her. Her breathing was shallow as adrenaline rushed through her veins as if she was anticipating an attack. She would've preferred talking to him face to face, but Katherine had to do what she had to. "I overreacted!" She admitted. There goes the script for what she was going to say. "Please," she continued to do a 180. "Can you come out so we can talk?" She didn't like the sound of her own voice breaking.
