Description:

The great cities of Moenia and Eversio are at war. Their weapons: giant machines called Veloxi.

Ivan has spent the last two years in prison. Avery is trapped in a concentration camp and haunted by memories of her parents' murder. Claire comes from a privileged family and shares her father's passion for building machines. Sawyer is a king's son, anxious to escape the constraints of his boring, sheltered life.

The four teenagers couldn't be more different, but now one thing will bring them together. They are about to become Amicus Warriors, the ones who drive the Veloxi into battle.

A/N: I started writing this story like more than two years ago for the lulz, and I don't know if I'm going to continue with it. But, recently I've been thinking about it, and maybe I'm going to write more. I don't know. I'm interested in what people think. I posted another chapter today for the first time in like a year! Huzzah!

Anyway, you can read it here.

Zanib (dawnofthebooks) | 95 comments This is kind of late, sorry :p

Anyway, so I see you've made it to chapter three, and so far, I love your writing style. The plot is nice and unique, and I'd give character development an A plus plus (not that I'm some working professional or anything). I absolutely love that last line

"Because warriors don't cry*

That's so epic I can feel it in my guts. You should absolutely continue. *Loving Ivan here*

Thanks! I made it a lot further actually but ... I stopped posting it because a) there didn't seem to be much interest in it, and b) I got really stuck/frustrated with it after a while and didn't know how to continue. I might pick it up again at some point in the future, but ... yeah, I don't know. Thanks for reading it, though!
