Freaks? Or normal? discussion

It's the roof.

Darkened red hair swept tentatively against the small of her back as Rachel made her way up the stairs, pushing open the door that separated her from the cool air of the roof. Gingerly, she pushed the stray strands behind her ear and did a complete loop of the circular area, resting against the brick barrier that was there to prevent anyone falling. A sigh fell from her lips and she gazed thoughtfully into the distance, zoning out.

((Mind if I crash?))

Katrina enters the roof, still breathing heavily. She started unloading her back pack looking for her weed cigarettes. "Here you are babies" She said when she found them. She lit one and hid the rest at the bottom of her bag again. "Thorn I'm gonna kill you someday big brother." She sighed as she started to relax. The cigarettes aren't stuffed enough to get her high, it will only help her relax.

When she started to focus., she realized that she's not alone. There's some guy napping at the corner. And a girl meditating or something at the end of the roof. "Well Hii there" She said loudly enough to wake up the guy in the corner.

Katrina Smiles "Hmm you look a bit old for high school don't you?"

"If you want some of my weed you can just say so" she said with one raised eyebrow and a smirk on her face. "I'm Katerina"

"Straight to point" She shakes her head. "Friends huh? well what do I have to lose? I live with my brother so, I think it's cool. If anything happens he'll break your bones. All of'em" She flashed her pearly white teeth.

Sitting up, Rachel managed to offer the newcomers a warm smile. "Hi."

Katerina Smiled and said " I'm done at 2 wait for me at the gates" And winked. As she was getting up the girl that was sitting alone surfaced from her daze " Hi to you too" said Katerina "Welcome back to earth"

Miranda climbed up to the roof, completely invisible. She crept around for a while and grabbed a can that was on the concrete roof. When she did, it looked like a floating soda can for the people who couldn't see her.

"Okay guys, am I that high or a can is literally floating in air? Damn that weed IS good!" Katrina sensed something unnatural. She was unnatural herself but she never had that feeling before.

Miranda threw the can at Katrina and hit her in the nose. She laughed and said," you sure your imagining it?"

Miranda made herself visible. She was wearing her khaki skinnys and green tee.

"Ohh so Thorn wasn't bluffing last night!" Smirked Katrina. But she was scared for her brother. It was something having a freak for a sister, but being hated by one. That may be dangerous.

Miranda rolled her eyes and threw another can at Katrina. "So your brother is the stalker?"

"Hey, he's genuinely a nice guy! Just too nice maybe, at least he's not a freak!" Katerina was pissed now. She hates people judging or making fun of her brother.

"'At least he's not a freak'"she yelled angrily , making air quotes. "What do you mean by that?!"

"He's not the one vanishing on and off" She said. Miranda was angry. Good.

"Shut the hell up!"Miranda screamed, slapping the girl.

" Seriously? You're hitting me? I can make your life a LIVING HELL without even talking to you. So you'd better watch it. I'm not interested in some cat fight" She slung her backpack on her shoulder and turned to lex. " Like I said, I'll finish at 2, See ya" Smiled and headed for the stairs.

The fall winded her. Miranda had small and unhealthy lungs and was gasping for air due to the fall.

Katerina forgot he headphones on the roof, when she returned she found Miranada still lying on the floor. "Enjoying the view?" She was still angry, but the girl looked in pain so she offered her hand.

((Guys?))

She grabbed her hand and pulled her down while she stood. Miranda smirked and walked down the stairs, invisible again.

"Ungrateful Bitch" sighed Katrina as she got up. She had expected that move. And she could have prevented it with one thought, but she refuses to use her power, scared of loosing control. She grabbed her headphones and headed for class.

With a small sigh, Rachel found herself walking back through the door, finding all this drama bullshit.

Ezra escapes the crowded building and walks to the edge of the roof. She takes a deep breath in and then lets it go. She starts to think of how beautiful the sky is, then sits down on the cold cement.

Ash's eyes open as he sits in a far away corner with shadows covering his face. He sees a girl and looks at her, she was blue. If he was human he may freak out, but he wasn't.

Ezra touches her finger to the ground and begins to twirl it around. To lost in her thoughts to notice the other person on the roof.

Ash watches her, he tilts his head a bit.

Ezra starts to stand, but falls back down and laughs. She then starts up again and looks out into the sky smiling at natures beauty.

Ash then asks, "Are you alright?"

Ezra flinches, then turns to see someone hidden in the corner, "Are you talking to me?"

Ash nods, "Yes. We are the only two up here." He points out.

"Oh, um," she pats down her skirt and brushes back her bangs, "yeah, I'm uh, I'm fine. Thanks for asking." She smiles shyly.

Ash gives a half way smile ((THe really sexy kind. XP))

Ezra slowly walks over to him and sits down. She then extends her hand, "Ezra O'connor, and you are."

He takes her hand, "Ash VanDel." He says.

"A pleasure to meet your acquaintance," she puts her hands in her lap and leans against the wall.

"Sooo," she laughs nervously, "what brings you to the coziness of this corner?"

He looks ahead, his eyes squinting, he wasn't smiling that much anymore. ((He's not one to smile. Dark and mesterious.)) "People like me aren't really accepted. So I come up here to get away from the hate." He says honestly.
