Freaks? Or normal? discussion

A calm park with toys in the center where little kids can play. (There are no kid charries but if you want a little brother or sister, you are allowed to play them. Just add them with your family.)

Cam sat on the swings, go up and down with her eyes closed, feeling the breeze.

Evra walks down the path, his eyes blue from his contacts, it was really hard to see because he had to look through a small hole with his slants. His face was hidden by his hood and his hands in his pockets.

She jumped off the swing, landing. Cam winced as a small pain shot across her ankle. Normal for her though.

Evra looks over to her, "You okay?" He asks.

Cam looked up. "Um, ya, no problem. Happens all the time." She gulped. This was the first time in about three months that she had spoken to an actual person.

He nods, looking down, hidding his face as best he could.

She analyzed how tense his body was. "What about you? You okay?"

He nods, "Yah, I'm fine."

Cam stepped closer. "You don't look okay..."

His green slows a bit on his cheek, he took a step back. ((She looks normal sooo ya. XP)) "I-I...."

"Wait. You're like me aren't you?" A sly grin appeared as she glanced at his green complexion.

He bites his lip, he looks up a bit, his blue eyes showing.

"You are. I can tell... What is exactly is under that hood of yours?"

((Haha, yes.))

He looks up at her, his scales showing. "I'm a freak." He whispers. His yellow sharp teeth showing.

"You aren't a freak. You are a specially talented person. As I see it, you are better than the average species." Her chin tilted up as she smiled.

He smiles, his teeth showing again. "Thanks."

"Mind taking the hood off so that I can see more of my favorite color?" She bit her lip. This part was generally harder for strangers, showing themselves to her.

He shakily goes for the hood, the then pulls it down, his black hair was covered by a beanie. But he always wore that, he wasn't hidding anything. He then takes out his contacts.

She put her hands over her mouth, hiding a smile and gasp.

He looks down, "I know.... I look horrible...."

She let her fingers fall. "On the contrary."

He looks at her, "Yah?"

"Ya." Cam folded her arms.

He smiles, "How are you like me though?"

She bit her lip. "Do you really want to know?"

He nods, "Yah."

"Then close your eyes." Her smile was gone.

He closes them.

A tingle went up her spine as her eyes turned black. She unleashed what she called "Whispers". They circled around the two, making comments about degradation of the Freaks, stating how one could never be normal with the skin of a reptile. They tried breaking down the surface, working down to the point underneath the tissue. Cam only let them speak for about a minute, then she quieted them.

"I'm sorry."

His eyes opened, "One's worse fears...." He says softly.

She nodded. "It gets worse though. If I had let it go further, you'd be sobbing right now. Or dead." Cam looked at the ground, mindlessly staring at her shoes. "Now who's the freak?"

"The people who actually think that way." He answers.

That earned a small smile. "Good answer."

He laughs, then says, "I never caught your name."

"Cam. And you?"

"Evra." He says.

"Nice name... Wait, it sounds kind of familiar. Would I know you from any place?"

Evra thinks, "School maybe." He shrugs. ((I'ma change his last name to Von. VanDel doesn't work for him. I'll just make Kate.))

"I don't go to school.. What's your last name?"

((Yeth))

"Von." He answers.

"Evra Von..... Why does that sound so familiar??" Cam bit her lip again, racking her brain for the answer.

((Haha! Really!? Coolio! XD Yes, I am just the perfect guy. If I was a lesbian and wanted a sex change I'd probably be your perfect match! Yes, yes I just did that to freak you out!))

He shrugs, "I have no idea."

((Sorry ~ I am in so much ruin, that comment didn't even make me feel awkward... well, maybe a little ;) ))

"Shoot! Now this is gonna bug me!." She mockingly stomped her foot.

Evra tilts his head. ((Why does it sound familiar?))

((IDK yet - she just need something interesting to say! Any ideas? lol))

"Whatever. I'll think of it later." Cam shrugged.

He then thinks, "Well.... I was in the news paper a few times."

"For what?"

((Shoot... maybe um.... they have some sort of secret pastly togetherness??... uhhh...))

"Well, I was found in a dumpster when I was two days old." He answers.
