Sadie As Hektor's horse slowed to a halt he let go of it's mane and slid off, thanking the large animal. He knelt and let his hands run through the cool stream. Turning back to Mint he shook his head, ashamed.
"We're none of us any good are we?"

((s'all good))

(( back sorry it took longer than expected. Pictures ugh. )))
Mint shook her head kneeling by him. "I think you are doing just fine."

message 6: by Sadie (new)

Sadie ((lol, I know what you mean.))

Hektor smiled. Leave it to Mint to compliment him at a time like this.
"I'm glad you came with me," he chuckled. "Even though you know what they're going to say."

She glances at him, "what are they going to say? Did we do something wrong?"

Sadie Hektor laughed at her.Does she really have no clue? he said to his horse, who was now happily munching on the stream reeds.
He folded his arms, a broad smile consuming his face. "Come on, Mint.An of-age prince takes his young female servant out into the woods when he usually goes alone? Even you're not that ignorant." he teased.

Mint turned tomatoe red. "I...but...we...how?...." she stammered wringing her hands, and hoping that he didn't know her feelings about him.

message 10: by Sadie (new)

Sadie "Never mind it." he said, turning bak to the moonlit water running over the rocks. Again, he found himself lost for words. He looked to his horse who snorted and shook his neck. Gee, thanks.

Mint whispered, "I am sorry.. I should just go if I am making this much trouble."

message 12: by Sadie (new)

Sadie Hektor turned and caught Mint by her arm. "No, no! Please, I wouldn't have invited you if I didn't want you to come." He paused and let her go. "Stay, please."

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

She gives a timid smile. ."ok. As you wish master"

message 14: by Sadie (new)

Sadie At this, Hektor laughed. "Really? How many times have I asked you not to call me that? Hektor. My name is Hektor and yours is Mint, my lady."

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

She laughed. It filled the forest. "ok Hektor." she said stressing the or.

Sadie ((Sorry, I've been crazy busy lately))

Hektor plunked down in the thick grass next to the brook. He motioned with his head for Mint to sit next to him. He reflected back on all times he'd done this, thinking about what he'd say to her if she'd been there. And now here she was yet he couldn't find any words.

She sees he is clearly uncomfortable, so she says, "What is bothering you?"
