Gering Book Junkies discussion

Are you finding this a fun book to read or uncomfortable, or both? Mary's approach to research is pretty irreverent. Would this book hold your attention if it were written in a clinical manner, even with the same information? (Or is it holding your attention?)

Hi I can't wait to get started with this! I am waiting for a call from the library when more copies of the book arrive so unfortunately I have no opinions on your questions yet. Happy reading!

This is probably not a book I would have picked on my own to read but it really is fascinating. I love the way she interjectes her thoughts/opinions into the book. I can tell you that I will never again use the term "date myself" without smiling. I think I pride myself on"getting" her humor!! There are many firsts for me this week---my first book club and this is my first chat! I'm pathetic. :)

This is def. a book i wouldnt have pick for my self but nonetheless i am enjoying it! it is laugh out loud funny and scientific!

Just started this week...Already told my husband that he should read it.
