I forgot too till now! I really should read this book! I started but it didn't have the same addictive start as Catching Jordan did

Agree! I loved Catching Jordan way better than this one. Where are you now in the book?

Well I stopped like a week ago, so I am at (view spoiler)[ she joins the softball team again. And she screws up (hide spoiler)]

What I don't like is (view spoiler)[ the author has used very similar plots in the book as Catching Jordan. So it might be a bit predictable if we have read Catching Jordan already. (hide spoiler)]

Exactly besides I don't really like (view spoiler)[ Brian seems a lot like Ty ro em *groan* why???? I already am starting to guess the story (hide spoiler)] But just like CJ, I love her friends, they are so amazing. Drew and Corndog are the best, she is so lucky to have awesome friends!

It's been a while since I've read them. I've read many books since then. But I love them so much!!

I like this better than Catching Jordan. A little deeper. I really like Parker. Her story was one I enjoyed. Her faith inspite of the lack of faith shown in her was refreshing. A good read.

Just downloaded this one and I'm looking forward to it. :)

The only thing that I expected more from this book was Jordan to have some role in it. Oh well :)

Exactly.... I too felt Jordan should have been given more space in the book, she was a good character. Like in see breeze series .... I felt in that series every character was important... I wanted that here too..... Its just that even though the series is awesome but its kind of a stand alone ... I mean book 1 characters are minimal in book 2 .

Yeah, except there are a lot of common male characters. Apparently if you can play football, you can play baseball too lol

It took me a minute to figure out Sam was Henry I had to figure out which sport she was highlighting :)

Well she didn't exactly play the sport. Parker is very different from Jordan, if you asked me.

I had to go back to Jordan for clearing few things for this book ... It was as if suddenly Sam's main sport changed from football to baseball... That was the only fault I found besides minimal space for book 1 characters, otherwise book was good .

And sadly they forgot Ty completely .... I so wanted him to get a girl .... He was a good guy .

Exactly, I wonder what happened to him. I love Drew though he was really sweet. I would love to know what happens to him, then other characters like JJ it would be cool

I'm so glad you said that, cuz I'm still struggling with it. I'm only on the first half and this Brian character is ruining it for me!

I just finished it and surprisingly I really loved it too! I didn't think it was possible in the beginning, but I ended up liking it a lot more than 'Catching Jordan.' I absolutely loved Will and little Bo. I like Parker's character growth in the end, I'm glad she was able to find herself. I agree that I wish we got more of Jordan in the book, but I thought the little glimpse of Jordan and Henry at prom was really cute. Can't wait for the 3rd book!

Just finished and I thought the book was great! I couldn't put it down. I thought the issues were far more complex and serious than in Catching Jordan. I definitely agree that this book could be a standalone. It's nice to have a little interaction from the characters from the first book, but it doesn't affect the plot. I caught myself tearing up toward the end of this one. I really like this author and her development of her characters. Looking forward to the next book.

I know! For being the adult in the relationship, he was an idiot and deserved everything that happened to him. He really should've known better.

Even thought in this book the characters from catching jordan were minimal I liked that they were included. I loved the little bits about Sam Henry. This story was definitely more relatable for me then catching jordan was.It is probably because I have played softball for fourteen years.

I really would like to know the difference between softball and baseball because they seem to be almost the same :\

Softball and baseball are essentially the same sport with different pitching styles. One favors the under hand where the other the overhand. The pitching style changes the way someone bats which changes the way you hit the ball so it changes the entire game because the ball reacts differently.

O.o lol since I don't know much about it I am gonna nod like I understand.... sorry I am a cricket lover!

Sorry I've played since I was four so all of it is so second nature its hard to describe. Lets just say there are enough differences.

you can do either or. Usually genders stick to the usual one but technically a girl can play baseball in high school and so can a boy.

I finally finished this book! I liked this one much more than the first. You really didn't need to read the first one either. I thought the first book was just okay. I wasn't planning on reading the next one, until it was the weekly read on here. I liked this one so much more that I want to read the third one!

I can't wait to give the third one a go

Jana yay! The third one is pretty good but I am stuck at a what just happened moment! You should read it, and it tackles a more real issue :)
