Both have good character traits Edward is protective and a gentleman and would leave Bella to protect her. Jacob is a good friend to Bella who loves her and knows she loves him back but not as much as she loves Edward.
I think Edward is way better..he loves bella nd his protective of her, he also makes her make her own decision which i love..

I am definitely a Edward fan all the way
All the actors in Twilight were very in character and they probably acted how they did because of the directors instructions more than how they wanted to portray the characters, not that I know a lot about acting though. So can we please not bash the actors on here please. They do the best they can with the script and instructions they are given, its not an easy job that I can tell from what I read in the twilight film archive.
I personally love Jacob, in both the books and the movies I fell in love with this character (Not Obsessively... much))

Don't get me wrong Edward's alright... he just gets on my nerves sometimes, he is too calm and forgiving with Bella... But I love every character from twilight in some way... Especially Jacob Black xD

Nope I dnt fink Edward is selfish because he was ready 2 let go of Bella..
I'm for Edward . In the first half I didn't like Jacob. I thought he was a bit annoying . He just couldn't get it through his head that Bella's heart was for Edward. But in the end I felt sorry for him in how he was struggling with his emotions. You have to give Jacob respect for his loyalty to Bella. He could of have gone with his pack to kill Renesmee But he didn't . He actually helped fight them.
