VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE discussion

So, I hear this a lot from tons of people; "Kristen Stewart can't act for shit!". What do you think?

I've never seen the movie, however I did see commercials and trailers, and I did watch the movie Vampires Suck. From what I saw, the actress playing the Kristen Stewart role nailed Stewart's acting ability...all of which consists of biting her lip and blinking. Kristen is either one of the worst actors on the planet, or she has some sort of facial tic and eye condition.

Lucy, don't forget Stewart's snarky insolent expression that she carries with her everywhere. She is a terrible actress. I'm not going to rant about today's quality, or I should say lack of quality in actors/actresses/books/movies and television programs. I could go on for days. I will say that the Meyer books, the movies based on the books and the no-talent actors that appeared in the movie are among the best examples.

My friend and I were discussing Stewart's acting ability...*cough*...or lack of...last weekend. We both brought up the Joan Jett movie. She was actually good in that. She must have stopped smoking pot to film that movie.

But...come one...have you seen Snow White and The Huntsman??? SHE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!! And there were so many great actors in that like Charlize Theron...she was awesome...and that guy who played Thor(can't remember his name) but he was good too. Don't get me wrong, Snow White and the Huntsman was an awesome film..one of my favorites, but Kristen Stewart in that...it was like she just showed up and stood in front of the camera and was like "okay, what's my line?". LOL. I do love that movie, but I hated Kristen Stewart's portayal in it.

Every movie she's in she's got her mouth open like she's catching flies, or biting her lip and blinking as Lucy mentioned.

Here's a thought...Bella is such a boring, empty, Mary Sue character..that maybe it doesn't take much to play her. Maybe that's how Kristen Stewart got famous.

Did anyone see Stewart on the Oscars?? I recorded it and just watched it yesterday. She needs to get off whatever drugs she's on...there must be someone who cares enough about her to stage an intervention. And, if she isn't on drugs...then maybe she needs to get on some anti-depressants! I'm telling you...Courtney Love looked more lucid when she attended the Oscars!

ROFLMAO....that was great, Lucy! Yes, it's been a suspicion amongst many people that Kristen Stewart is on drugs. Like seriously messed up on drugs. And I really feel bad Robert Patterson. I would never take a gril back after cheating on me with the director of Snow White and the Huntsman if I were him. LOL...that's probably the only reason she got the part...she sucked his dick.

She gets better in the last two films, but in the first 3, i literally couldn't watch them without finding something about her to moan about. I do honestly think the producers and director made COMPLETELY the wrong choice in casting her.

My guess is that she hired an acting coach. I agree with you even though I hate Bella. And Kristen Stewart never should have even been involved in Snow White and the Hunstman. Like I said...sucky sucky!!!

The only movie I enjoyed that had her in it was The Runnaways, and she did as usual a mediocre job. Now if you want someone who just stammers all her lines and looks dirty all the time then shes brilliant in all she does, I have seen some of the twilight movies, Panic Room, Messengers, and The Runnaways..... yeah the &*^%$ can't act

I liked her in the movie "Speak" but she just looks too awkward in Twilight most of the time, for some reason.

Does she ever smile? I don't think I've ever seen a picture of her where she doesn't have a puss on her face.

Totally agree with you!! She has to thank "Bella" for her success. I'm not saying that Bella was an awesome role to play (I totally despise her) but, thanks to the success of the Twilight saga books, KS became a star. IDK if you guys know this but she got Bella's role because her now ex boyfriend's BFF was the Twilight's director. KS never read the books before, either. When Kathrine Hartwick (Twilight's director) asked her to play Bella, KS said:" Ah? IDK what that is." Well done, KS!
Plus, KS made me despise Bella more. My mama thinks I don't like KS because of Bella or something but it's not true. I watched other movies with her on it and it was like watching Bella! Same expressions!!
I'm sorry for the fans out there. I don't know her personally. I'm only giving my opinion about her acting.

You're right she does play Bella in all the other films. Take Snow White and the Huntsman for instance....that movie would have been awesome without KS.
