Devlyn was leaning against a tree. He had his eyes closed and was appreciating the beautiful music of one Freddie Mercury playing through his headphones. There was a light breeze causing the trees branches to dance.
Cj went out looking for her friend Devlyn. They had known each other since Pre-K
Devlyn opened his eyes and saw CJ. He grinned. They were bestest of friends and he loved her so much. "Hey girl you're looking fine," he said with a wink. They always joked around like that.
She rolled her eyes. She had never mentioned her crush on him. "Hey, Mr. Playaboy," she teased back.
He got up and walked over to her. He gave her a hug and kissed her cheek, compeletely oblivious.
She blushed a teeny bit back hugged back.
He let go then hooked arms with her. "Where to, m'lady?"
Ahe laughed, "Seeing as were already might as well walk."
Devlyn smiled and started to walk. He adored CJ's company. She really was his favourite person.
Cj had had a crush on Devlyn since fourth grade and had been his best friend as long as she could remember. She liked walking with him.
A few years ago Devlyn had realized he had a crush on CJ'S but had decided to ignore it. What would happen if the break up was bad? No it was too big a risk to say anything. Uh unless she said something first. He looked at her, god she was beautiful.
"You look really beautiful today," he said, not teasing this time.
"Of course," he smiled. She's always been beautiful to him.
She brushed her hair out of her face, "Thanks."
"You just seem shy today," he shrugged. He wrapped an arm around her waist.
She blushed, "Well, you've also put your arm around my waist and said I was pretty today."
"Well I guess if you don't want me to," he said and started pulling his hand away. He had a cheeky smile on his face because he was sure she like his arm there.
She blushed more, "I never said I didn't..."
