There were so many things in the book that wasn't included in the movies. Ppl shouldn't judge twilight on the basis of that. Books are far much better. Bella is introvert but not depressed. And Edward have a good sense of humour plus Bella thinks of Jacob as a kid in this book, he's just 15. They overdid in the movie.

The movies were seen by ppl just because of Robert Pattinson. There was nothing special in it.
