School has been too busy and I haven't been able to get a copy :-( I'll see if the library has it when I go tomorrow. :-)
First of all, I liked the book. The characters, uncomfortable situations, and settings made for an easy read and the mystery was satisfying. With all this said, I wouldn't recommend this book. I never really connected with either of the leads which made me more like an observer of their adventures than a participant. Still, it was fun to visit Venice.

I read this book in January and thought it was a wonderful romp in Renaissance Venice. My only problem was with the mystery. There just were not enough hints provided to figure out the mystery. I don't like mysteries that are too predictable, but I also don't like things coming completely out of left field with no hints given. As a reader when I finally find out who did it, I want it to make sense and have sort of an "oh thats what was going on" moment and I did not feel that I got that in this book. That being said I haven't gotten that in a lot of books.
Only now that I started reading this one, but I'm enjoying it. :-) I like the characters well enough, and the setting is so gorgeous that it makes me want to visit Venice RIGHT NOW. <3 So far it's been kinda creepy - interested to see what happens next. :-)
