LOL! I want to know too. Now I have to go back and read DR again to find out the timeline but do you remember if the penny fell out of one of Caleb's book and Leah saw it (and said to herself that he needed a different bookmark) before Olivia's party or was it after?

i don't. but now i have to know.

Leah goes into Caleb's office to sneak around and find dirt. She is reminded of the penny she found and how he freaked out and asked if she put it back. She said yes. He was relieved. She never saw the penny again because he moved it to a safe place she didn't know about. So she gets back to snooping and finds the deed to the house in Olivia's name. That's when she decides to meet Olivia at the diner and confront her. Caleb comes home to "pick something up" and then takes the baby the next day. She hangs out with Sam that day and ends up at Olivia's party. She finds out later snooping through pics on facebook that the box was from Caleb. Whatever it was, I think he picked it up from his house and had it delivered during the time took the baby from Leah. So, to answer you, the penny was safe in Caleb's possession BEFORE Olivia's party. Whew!!! I feel like I need to make an outline for that book.

I think it's the basketball from when he missed that shot in college. That missed shot symbolized that he would do anything to get Olivia to go out with him. It means something to him. Tarryn said that Caleb was making his intentions known with the gift.. so that basketball makes sense.. that he's going to fight for what he wants.

Chandra, that's an excellent theory! I completely forgot about the ball. I guess I will need to read the first two books before Caleb's book comes out. BTW, any news on when that might be??

After reading the Thief teaser, I think that Caleb was content in his life,still thinking about Olivia daily but being able to deal with their situation because he wasn't being contantly reminded of her until Cammie told him Olivia was getting married. That little seed of information has been festering in Caleb, along with the fact that his wife turned out to be the worlds WORST mother. Oh yeah, Caleb is extemely unhappy. The fact that Olivia has been able to move on with her life and is happy does not sit will with Caleb and makes him dwell more and more on all the missed opportunities he had with Olivia. I think he's going to bring out the big guns to win or steal Olivia from Noah. I'm just wondering how dirty of a fighter Caleb will be.

Yes, it's only suppose to be a trilogy. She said that she's working on another series that will rival this series. I just wish she would hurry up and tell us when Thief is going to be released, but part of me thinks that Tarryn Fisher is a Sadist and enjoys torturing us.

I can't remember were I read that she's writing another book, but I do remember her saying that the characters in the other series are currently talking to her and that's why Thief is being delayed.

I tried finding out the size of the box, but no luck. Caleb is so sentimental. It could really be anything.

All I have to say is Caleb better get his head out of his behind and get with the program. Oh and I can't wait for him to tell his mother off in the process!

I've been hoping Caleb tells his mom off AND Leah's mom too! I want Olivia and Caleb to end up together but I feel bad because I like Noah but he's always been understanding about Caleb so maybe he'll let Olivia go.
I'm anxious and I want a release date already!

Re: Noah -- I think so. He always knew that Caleb was Olivia's one and pretty much only love so one can hope he (Noah) loves her enough to let her go if need be. I think Noah himself deserves somebody who will love him more Olivia would ever be able to, no?

Alisha, I am with you re: timeline. I don't understand how some men can be so naive. I guess we'll see when the book comes out if there is any explanation as to who/when/why/how ...

Yes, Irene. I want Noah happy too, but we're talking about a Tarryn FIsher book. So, it might happen in some weird twisted way that we're all gonna hate but love at the same time. Never know~

Oy, I want to reread both, TO and DR but I think closer to the release date of the third book. I don't know if I can handle any more Leah at this time. I just hope Tarryn is kind enough to us and will give us HEA for everyone involved, manny included :-)

@Teresa Can you believe she is putting us all through this? To just stop the Love Me With Lies and start up another book which might in turn be a series too! She apologizes, but says that she can't help but be drawn to her new book and just can't let those ideas sit. She promises we will love it.
Could Caleb have maybe sent Olivia his divorce papers or asked she be his lawyer for the divorce? This just popped in my head and I'm going with it.
But that wouldn't be a very nice gift, would it?

Alisha, how could you reread it? I honestly don't think I'll be rereading The Opportunist and Dirty Red.
