This book is a lot deeper than I was expecting. Great writing.
I am almost finished. Definite thoughts on this one. Will probably go all spoiler on you
Okay. Just be warned...SPOILERS!!So, this book is good, almost super duper great, could have been epic! I give it a 4 and would recommend it to my friend for sure. I was so blown away when I started the book, the cover is so misleading. I was expecting some fun flirty yet war torn dirty romance. It was serious, deep and different, then it hit about 60% and it kinda changed for me. Still a great book, but the chance to be epic kinda flitted off and it became the cover. Kind of, but not really. Hard to express my feelings on it. Although I have a love/hate with angst, I think a little more separation there at the end would have made a world of difference for me.
I kinda hope we get a Derek book. What do you think?
I totally agree Lindsay. I feel that maybe if Hunter an Rania were separated for a bit, it would had added more to the story. A little to HEA. Granted, it deserved a HEA, but maybe some more events could have taken place. It was just missing something.
Yeah, and there was so much bad that happened at the beginning, I feel bad for saying more angst, but still...You know they are going to have a hard time adjusting out of the closed confined situation, so it was nice to kinda see what happened after they left her little house.
I loved the epilogue! I wish we could have gotten more.
I would have liked more epilogue too. Maybe if there is a Derek book we will see them again. I am going to go research. I am glad she dyed her hair. Thought she would do that right when they got home or soon thereafter.
I enjoyed reading this book but I thought it needed a little bit more umph in the end. I am assuming it's because Rania had already gone through so much that she deserved a nice and easy ending. I liked that the main characters were so unique. Storyline was different as well. 4 stars for me.
