Gormenghast discussion

I recently discovered after having listened to the audio version of Gormenghast, and subsequently going through the actual book, that Barquentine was saying "piss" of Satan, not "piece" of Satan (while swearing at Steerpike) But it did make me wonder, if God and Satan were to battle it out with a couple of swords, and God took a piece out of Satan, and it fell to earth/washed up on a beach let's say, how would it look/smell/feel/etc. My first thought is black, heavy and inky, staining everything it touches... maybe even moving of it's own volition... [shudder]

These are strange thoughts to find running through a girl's head, indeed.

every once in a while I do take a break from thinking about being a pink-fairy-unicorn-princess ;)

anyway, maybe it would just sprout a couple of arms and legs and go into politics... yuk yuk yuk
