Gwen snickered, linking onto his arm. "You know, the only real bad part about this situation is I definitely didn't bring enough clothes to last me for forever or whatever. Well, and the no seeing our family or friends part. That's a bit of a bummer too. Your thoughts?"
Emma walked over to a woman in a gray pantsuit and held out her hand irritatedly. Room three, whatever, headed in what she assumed was the right direction.
Katherine followed later, "This, this sucks." She didn't want a room partner, at all. She wanted to get out of this hellhole but hey, might as well find the right time. She went to the assistant.
"Card, please, madam." Eddie held out his hand expectantly, giving what he hoped was a charming smile to the woman. She was unmoved and handed him his key card.
Emma found the room and swiped the key card twisting the handle at the click. The door swing open to a nice enough looking room, two queen beds, a tv and mini-fridge, the bathroom off the the left and a large window facing out to an immaculately cut lawn.
((To clarify she hasn't actually gone in yet she is still in the hall, that is why I posted here.))
Gwen crossed her fingers. "Here's hoping."
Eddie followed after the girl he watched entering his room. She must have been who he'd be sharing it with.

Emma heard footsteps approaching a whirled around balanced perfectly and ready for anything. It was just a guy holding a card like hers, her roommate apparently.
((She is still kind of just standing there with the door open.))
Emma nodded awkwardly and took a step back to allow him in. She reached down and picked up her equipment bag, not a good thing to leave laying around with thousands of dollars in equipment in it.
Katherine came back out of the room. She was going to explore, A.K.A. finding a way out of this weird place. She had tried to call from her phone but it mysteriously died. She didn't bother looking for the charger, for it may just be missing.
Roxi glanced up from her shoes, "Oh uh..I just turned twenty last week." She shrugged, "I know I look like sixteen or whatever but this is life and this is what I've got to deal with. It works for me." Roxi grinned.
Katherine heard voices down the hall. She turned and started to walk toward them, genuinely curious. She had seen them in the auditorium as well.
"Was that a wink Kyle or have you got a nervous twitch?" She snickered, nudging him with her elbow. "Well it has a roof, that's always a plus." Roxi replied drily, glancing up as she heard the sound of footsteps and she noticed one of the girls from earlier.
Katherine smiled as she approached. She was already on edge and she stopped not too close but close enough. "Hello," she said, her voice cool and collected.
"I don't think I ever said it," a small smile played her lips. "Katherine. Katherine Frey." She held out her hand to Kyle, a small challenge in her gaze. It was always there, something she just couldn't hide at times.
"Now that you know my name, I believe it's only fair for me to know yours." Her eyebrows rose as she said this in a smile. Inside she knew though, just in case, it was good to make connections if she really was stuck here.
Katherine laughed at his first sentence, a small laugh escaping her lips. "Nice to meet you Kyle." Her eyes took in his profile, seeing what he may study in or what his talents might have been. She turned her curious gaze onto the girl, her hand letting go of Kyle's and holding out to Roxi, "And you are?"
"Huh? oh-" Roxi had kind of zoned out for most of the conversation but as she saw the girl extending her hand towards her, Roxi held out her own. "I'm Roxi, nice to meet you." She said politely before withdrawing her hand.
Katherine shook her hand and let go the same time she did. "Pleasure," she nodded. Then she looked at the both of them. "Please tell me that I'm not the only one who thinks we've just been kidnapped by the government." She smiled, to show she was teasing.Hardly.
Roxi had considered that but then why would they want her, a loud mouthed motorhead who usually rolled around with a gang and smoked like a chimney. She shrugged, "I dunno, I reckon it's something else I just don't know what."
Katherine just gave an impassive shrug back. "It doesn't really matter. I can't believe I gave up Paris for this. I thought this was some academy!" Katherine's hands had balled into fists even if they were crossed. She leaned against the wall now, thinking.
Roxi rolled her eyes and nudged him back, she turned to Katherine as the girl seemed to have a bit of a freak out. Roxi shrugged, "I just think we ought to wait and see maybe it'll be a good thing after all."
