What does everyone think of Aces High? Do you think it reads more like a Jason Brant book or an Elle casey book? What was your favorite quote?

I think it's a perfect blend of the two although you can see Elle's style in her chapters and Jason's style in his. They are a great team! I'll have to go back to look for a favorite quote, there are always so many of them in both authors' books. I'll have to remember to bookmark those from now on.

My favorite Quote's are: "this was just the fart frosting on top of my shit cake!!" And: " I'll kick your ass so hard you will be burping farts for a week!" Sorry about the SPITING! Its Elle's fault!!

Those were both excellent, when I read the 'burping farts for a week" part I nearly choked on my tea :)

actually the power to the penis line was my favorite line but I already used it in my post on the other topic.

I loved the book. At first I was not sure if it would appeal to me as I am not exactly a YA :) but I found myself enjoying it and laughing at the interaction between Charlie and Douglas. It seemed to end too quickly for me as I wanted them to earn lots of money and move into a really cool apartment which would be a combination of a home for Charlie and a geek pad for Douglas, but I will wait (im)patiently for the next book .....

Another great part .............. Elle mentioning the Elle'Mentals in the Acknowledgments :) Yay!!!

Okay I have finished Aces High and am ready to discuss it now...first of all I feel like we are peeking into the the real life interactions that are Elle and Jason! really did we need to use Chuckles and Dooogle for names except for the many plays on those name. LOL I love it and am ready for the next installment because really it can't end there!! Come on Elle, you are known for cliffhangers and although this was not a cliffhanger is was the beginning of the next chapter in the the Chuckles and Domasski's story! Bring it on, Jason and Elle and get the next book ready to go! no seriously loved it...it was started one way and took three left turns and kept going. Charlie is very much an Elle main gal....it's so funny to me that Jason continues to defends his GEEK guy (not a NERD) and does him so well. Favorite quotes--I have to go back to look because there were more than one that had me laughing, but of course the power of the penis made me laugh and the fart frosting on the shit cake was classic....but there were so many more even all the nicknames for the other people..Candy corn really, you know who they are!

My favorite quote was from Charlie, though it was a thought and not something she actually said.

It was something along the lines of "I don't think Doug is a virgin, but I doubt he's done it with the lights on."

Now that's funny. Even though it was written by an assjack.
