Mako was still strangely wired from last night and was a little twitchy from all the coffee he had drank.

Lia then came into the Guide and said, "Hey Mako."

"Hey" Mako said waving and trying to remember if he'd de activated all the traps.

Lia then said, "So when do you want to start practicing?"

Mako's shoulders jerked in a shrug and his eyes widened as Lia continued towards him. "Wait!" He lunged at her just as her foot came down. He knocked her off her feet and just barely got his arms up in time to avoid squishing her. As they were falling a very large ax swung where Lia had been less then a second before.

Lia then hit the ground and let out a moan of pain. She then looked at. Mako so close to her and said blushing from the closeness, "Thanks." Thinking about it that would have hurt like hell.

"Sorry, I thought I had disarmed them all." Mako said breathlessly.

Lia then said smiling,"You just can't stay off of me Mako." She thought about yesterday in her bedroom.

"Sorry about that." Mako said sheepishly and moved off her.

Lia didn't understand why he was sheepish about it because he wasn't sheepish last time and the asked, "So is that the only one not disarmed?"

"Let's hope so." Mako said, running a hand through his hair as he did a mental inventory of all the traps in the room.

Lia then said, "Well, you go first because I don't know where the traps are at."

He led a path to the desk, only having to shove her back once when three arrows were loosed towards her.

Lia then was on the ground again. She got up dusting herself off.

"Okay, that should be all of them." Mako said.

Lia then sighed, "Good." She then hugged him smiling. She was running a fever.

Mako frowned. "Lia are you okay?"

Lia then passed out breathing hard.

"No you most certainly are NOT okay." Mako said, barely catching her before she fell.

Lia unconscious and her body limp.

"Aw jeez." Mako said, picking her up and taking her to a nearby couch. He wet he'd soon gently and brushed the hair off her forehead.

second sentence was supposed to be: he set her down gently...

Lia was still burning up it was amazing that she even got here not passing out.

"How can you have a fever when you're dead?" Mako muttered under his breath.

Lia then woke up out of it and said, "Mako I love you." She seemed drunk, but this was just sickness. She then kissed him.

Mako froze, letting the kiss linger longer than it should have. He jerked away and covered his mouth with his fist.

Lia then said, "Mako I ... I... " She then fell asleep.

"Fuck Lia." Mako breathed.

Lia laid there on the couch. Her temperature still high.

Mako shook his head to clear it and quickly fetched some fever medicine for her.

Lia laid there trying to win the war raging inside of her.

"Drink." Mako said gently, cupping the back of her neck and dripping the medicine into her mouth.

Lia swolowed the medicine and muttered, "Don't leave." She was having a flashback when her parents left her for a couple days. Thinking about it scared her she had tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I'll stay with you." Mako said, taking her hand.

Hearing those words Lia smiled suddenly the flashback changed to her parents to take her home with the. She then slept.

Lia then woke up seeing Mako asleep next to her. She smiles and messes with his hair. He looked cute when he slept almost peaceful.

Mako blinked sleepily and yawned.

Lia then said, "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you that I was sick. I sort mean to worry you." She felt bad.

"Do you remember what happened?" Mako asked uncertainly.

Lia shook her head no and asked, "Why did I do something?"

Mako paused a beat too long before saying "no."

Lia then said, "Your lying its all over your face."

"Haha, I have no idea what you're talking about. It's just the coffee, it's making me jumpy." Mako said.

Lia then rolled her eyes and said, "Mako tell me now because your a crapy lier. We're friends you think I wouldn't notice." She was kind of hurt that he wouldn't tell her the truth.

"I take that as an affront to my person! I am not a crappy liar." Mako said indignantly, not answering the question.

Lia then said, "Whatever. Let's just drop it." She didn't want to argue with him and more. She then sighed and said, "Thanks for taking care of me."

Maki smiled, "no problem, just give ne a little warning next time will ya?"
