Sona swung her legs over the small swing she had made that hung over the middle of the river. There weren't too many students, and they hadn't made their move yet...she would wait until they struck first. She droppedupside down on the swing, her aqua-bright hair trailing in the water as she swung slowly back and forth.

Lia followed Mako to the river.

"Okay, if Angel goes after the shots we should be fine here." Mako said, letting go of Lia's hand.

Lia sighed, "Good."

"Well since we're here do you want to go swimming?" Mako asked.

Lia then blushed, "Um, okay."

Mako pulled his shirt and shoes off, and debated internally before pulling his pants off as well. He was still in his boxers and ran to the river, jumping in without a second thought.

Lia's face was flushed as she took her shirt, skirt, and her gun. She then sat down as she pulled off her shoes. She then walked over to the edge of the river and said, "How is the water?"

Mako slicked his hair back and grinned, "great. But it's a little cold."

Lia then backed up a little and jumped in smiling.

When Mako saw Lia go under he smiled crookedly and ducked under the surface. He swam towards her and grabbed her ankles.

Lia then screamed underwater frightened at first, but then saw it was Mako she smiled and stuck her head out of the water needing air.

Mako gave Lia's ankles one last little tug before swimming to the surface. He gulped air and grinned after catching his breath.

Lia blushed and smiled. She then said, "This is not normal."

"Meh, who wants to be normal?" Mako asked offhandedly.

Lia then laughed, "Not me."

"Uh huh, normal is overrated." Mako said, nodding.

Lia then said, "Yeah." She then went underwater smiling.

Mako crossed his arms behind his head and floated on his back, knowing at any moment Lia could get him back for earlier.

Lia then wrapped her arms around his stomach and popped her head out of the water and said, "Wow, your easy to catch."

Mako smiled, "well yeah because I knew you were going to do that."

Lia then said, "Do you like to swim out just of curiosity?" and let him go.

"Yeah, it makes it seem like just for a little while I'm not dead, that I never died and this is all just a dream." Mako said.

Lia began to float on her back and said, "When I first came here I thought was another crazy dream or something, but the I realized that I was dead. That was that broke my heart the most."

"By the time I got here there was no heart to break." Mako said, his eyes clouded over by past memories.

Lia nodded she then said, "I'm sorry."

"Don't be, it had nothing to do with you." Mako said, not unkindly.

Lia then said, "Well you are a least here with me." She then smiled at him.

Mako smiled faintly, and smoothed the hair out of his eyes.

Lia then blushed and noticed how close she was to him and backed up.

Mako watched her swim back, his eyes taking note of her every move.

Lia then flushed, "Don't stare at me." She put he hand to her face.

"Is it bugging you?" Mako asked with a half smile.

Lia then said, "Yes!" She then went underwater and sat down with her hands still on her face.

"You're up on stage for hours on end during concerts but me staring at you for a couple of seconds bugs you?" Mako called before shaking his head, "that's messed up."

Lia then came back up with her hands off her face and said blushing, "Yeah because it's you!" She then covered her mouthing wishing she didn't say that.

Mako's eyebrows drew down, "why does it matter that it's me?"

Lia then said, "Um no reason at all." She was blushing a lot.

Mako shook his head disbelievingly.

Lia then said, "I am not saying."

"Wah- No fair!" Mako said with mock indignation.

Lia then said, "Let's just not talk about it."

Mako shrugged, "if you don't want to talk about it we won't talk about it."

Lia then said, "Good."

Mako went under one last time before getting out of the water.

Lia then got out of the water cool and shivered. She then was blushing. She then tripped and fell on Mako.

Mako's eyes widened and he stumbled backward under Lia's unexpected weight. He slipped in the mud and landed on his back with Lia on top of him. "Oof." He grunted.

Lia opened her eyes and just stared at him blushing and then said, "Um, I am sorry."

Mako grinned, "I'm not. Having a beautiful girl wearing only her underwear throw herself at you is not something to complain about."
