Hi everyone:My name is Bill, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a screenwriter (worked and sold a bunch of projects but my produced credit is 'Return to House on Haunted Hill') and I just released my first horror-thriller 'Fear the Light: Who Murdered Dracula? on Amazon. (Goodreads giveaway happening at the moment). I also write book reviews for horrornovelreviews and plan on reposting some of those reviews on Goodreads soon. My influences are the giants of the field, Koontz, King, McCammon, Barker and Rice and hope to fuse action-adventure with horror in my upcoming work.
My Goodreads giveaway of Fear the Light: Who Murdered Dracula? ends in one hour!
Ebook is still $0.99! http://www.amazon.com/Fear-Light-Who-...

If you feel trapped with your ideas and with your hopes to become an author one day, this is a place where you can express your struggle, your doubt, your fear.
As an aspiring writer myself, I have many a time felt alone with my potential, and with my imagination and with my dream. It is a difficult and discouraging thing to feel. Believe me, I know.
I've written plenty throughout the years, and will soon try and get my work out there. I know how terrifying it can feel to put yourself out there and offer your work to new people who have read many great stories before yours.
I'll be starting a Writers group soon at one of my local libraries, seeking advice and tips from others of our kind, if you will.
I am very anxious to say the least, and hesitant in being open with the wrong people.
Some people just don't understand what points you are trying to make, and that terrifies me greatly.
But the point for this discussion is for aspiring writers who are experiencing these same struggles to talk about them, and share their success and accomplishments.
So if you're a struggling writer, or even just a beginner, feel free to discuss anything about this subject.
I'm very passionate about this, and would be happy to give others advice if I can.
