Completely the opposite, i didn't care for it at all. It's probably the most famous of all the Sherlock Holmes stories and i had high very expectations for it that it just didn't reach.
That's what happens when you have high expectations. Something has to be absolutely brilliant to meet it. (Look I did not miss spell meet:D)I try to mostly not expect to much so I won't be disappointed.
That happens when I watch movies about a book that I've already read. Very disappointing :( I haven't read any of the books yet sadly but once I get through my pile from the library now, I will have to read them.
I prefer the short stories to. The first Sherlock Holmes book i read was "The adventures of Sherlock Holmes". It's the one i recommend that people start off with. If i had started with "The Hound of the Baskervilles" i probably wouldn't of continued the series.
I liked it, it was good. It's the only Sherlock Holmes book I've read, but even though it was a short book, it took two months to read it. I just wasn't that into it. But I liked it.
