For team names, I like "One Way" without the only or "One and Only"

Any volunteers for captain? I must admit I skimmed the rules and am not 100% sure what were doing lol.

Whew, i thought I was the only person who was a little unsure of herself. I will look at the Romance challenge thread later today to see how they did it.

I posted our team name (One Book at a Time) and let them know I will be captain. Also, I made a spreadsheet for keeping track of our points, please let me know if you have trouble viewing it.

This is tough! And I might be a little slower than usual this week. We've got to take care of my MIL's headstone this weekend. I might not be able to finish until first part of next week. Ill sure try though to have it done this weekend.

In the book I hope to use, the moon is on the paperback back cover. If you go to amazon and it's one of the images on amazon. Would back cover still counts for "cover", right?

2) Question 2: a character talks about spending down the Dan Ryan, would that count for Ryan?
Dan Ryan is an expressway named after a Chicago politician. I used to live in Chicago, so i know that. Anyway would Dan Ryan count?

Ezinwanyi I am going to let Lizz rule on the back cover part. You can use alternate covers if that helps with the front.


As far as character, it needs to be a main character in the book, not just a character mentioned in the book. So just mentioning a highway named after him isn't enough.

Question: What is the significane of the ATWT's sequence? Why do you want us to watch it?

Since I have my book, do I need to state it now and the points I think I'm eligible for, or do I just read it, then post a review with all the necessary info?

If you can match something from the shows title sequence to the book cover it is worth 2 points.

You can post now or not. Up to you. In the dance party people always posted thier book and other teams used the book also. It isn't like Words with friends where everyone is all "first rule of fight club is you don't talk about it".

Points are given based on individuals and team speed so I think it is ok to share what you are reading, but you can be super sly if you want.

I can definitely see Ezi being super sly ;)

Book: Sweet Blood of Mine by John Corwin
Finished: 3/11/13

this book had a young high school nerd who had the unfortunate luck to run into the school football star about to rape a girl. Justin happened to also have a huge crush on this girl, Katie and so he decided to play hero...except the football player was bigger and stronger.
The football player began tormenting Justin and his "nerdy" friends until Justin started exhibiting strange behavior. Unusual strength being the first thing. We soon learn that Justin is special, more than he knew and his parents never bothered to tell him who he really was until the strange occurences increased in his life. Who was he and what are his powers? And will he be able to get the girl he loves to take him back?

Cover: Moon on cover = 2 points

Name: Hughes = 5 points

TOTAL POINTS: 14 Points

Ezi just to clarify it can you list the Main character in the books name with your points for name, not just the last name from the list. (for those of us who haven't read it.)
