So who liked Harry Potter?

books, yes. movies, yes EXCEPT for the 4th one. it sucked so bad that i STILL make fun of it. ^^

lol i know i think ALL the movies suck...lol i just love the books I just don't know which I like better Maximum Ride or Harry Potter.

max ride wins for me ^^ i can appreciate the movies as seperate entities... normally. the 4th one was so bad though... *sigh* it aggravates me.

eehhh i tried to read harry potter, but i got bored after two and a half books. wasn't my taste.

... i like withccraft... i think its rather neat and interesting, the whole concept. i dunno, i think i just like thinking that there's something out there that i'll probly nvr rlly be a part of.

yes they are.....they talk to the dead. (oh come on! only once a witch talked to the dead in the bible, and God let it to happen...and when the witch let Saul talk to the dead, the witch was freaking out when he was done and the spirit went to heaven.) witches are bad, they go into bad things...I know some things what would give you nightmares

It takes quite a bit to give me nightmares. I'm not even going to discuss the religious portion, as I don't want to offend anyone. But seriously, some 'witches' were just talented herbalists. Not all of them talk to the dead, either.

well all of them do this. some times on Halloween night, (some times we see kidnappings in the news) they kidnap kids. They hide them for a wile and then they breen them out of a shack that they cepp them in. They chain them to a rock and start to bleed them to death. The cut there wrists, neck, and ankles. They let the blood drip into a cup and when its full. They drink it and do this dancing thing. Witches are so evil...I think they say that drinking blood is good for there power or some thing like that

if you lissen to a bad song do you here the words? or do you just like the beet to the song. you still hear the words and it still leeks into your mind. So if you read Harry potter...do you read the witchcraft or just try to block it out of your mind while you are still reading it?

i don't belive in witchcraft when i read it i just think of it like a Maximum Ride book......fantasy.

*sigh* NSA... im srry, but i dont think that that particular witch stuff goes on anymore. and not all witches are evil. if you look back to like, the salem with trials and stuff (the time period anyway), you'll find a bunch of "witches" that were seriously just herbalists that knew what they were doing and would never hurt a fly. and then the salem witch trials themselves were just a bunch of girls crying the proviable wolf. not evil. cept for the girls that started it. but w/e. witches could be real for all i know, but: if you want to know where rowling got the spells she used, then where did patterson get the idea for max ride? IMAGINATION.

yes it first started out as IMAGINATION but it grew...into witchcraft, killing, and now she is probably friends with witches and asking them for more spells to fill the minds of 6,7,8 year olds. She is giving a bad example for the kids. Some one did question about "why do you like harry potter? Would you like to grow up like him?" and gess what a little kid said. "I LOVE harry potter and I hope to grow up like him so I can kill people and make spells" (and this is all real)

*sigh* first off, rowling isnt writing anymore harry potter books, though i wish she would cuz i love them. and most little kids want to grow up to be like their favorite storybook character. heck, i think i wanted to be like Trixie Belden at one point. Now i think that having wings (max ride is bad now too, is it? KILLING and VIOLENCE) would be rather awesome. after a certain age, kids realize that fiction books are just that. Fiction. Those books were not intended for 6, 7, and 8 yr olds anyway. If a kid can read and understand those books, they're most likely old enough to understand that witches and wizards arent real. and if you're going to argue that witches are real, Harry Potter most definately isnt. if you still wish to argue that point, go try and get your library to reshelve them in the non-fiction section. there is killing in a grand majority of the books i read. are you saying that all books with killing and violence in them are bad? if so, i recommend... *thinks* not even fairy tales would do, because they slay dragons. clifford or the cardboard baby books might be good.

Maximum Ride is only killing those things for defense. And I dont know about Harry Potter but I think its not all right to kill some one just to make a point that you are better at spells then someone els

... Harry killed people in self defense too. If a little kid in 2nd grade or under can understand them, then WOW. No, killing to prove a point generally is frowned on. Actually, killing in general is frowned on and only approved when it's self defense. And just so you know, I've tried lighting the tip of a stick with lumos... it doesn't work, again proving that magic doesn't exist. I have a feeling that you missed the point of my last arguement... *sigh*

lol, i can understand being against harry potter. i can respect it, even if i dont agree. saying that all witches r evil though... i cant just let that be as a matter of opinion, because it isnt, not really. sorry if i made you mad.
