Proud Of It! discussion

I am a very optimistic and positive person. I don't get sad very easily, but if I do, I find ways to keep myself from sinking. I listen to music, cry it out, read books, WRITE in my journal, or talk to an online friend. I am not sure if I fully accept myself yet, but I am getting there. You know, accepting yourself can take some time. Especially if you're in that age. And if I may ask, what does LGBT stand for?

Oh, dear...how to describe me...I am almost always seen with a smile on my face, I love kids, I read and sing my heart out to get me by, I love to climb trees, though I have a fear of falling, which usually prevents me from getting back down... ( ^_^ ) I honestly don't care what people think of me. I mean, I do a little, but if people wanna call me weird, that's their problem, not mine. :) ...this might sound weird, but I also talk to Bob, my cat. he's a good 'conversationalist'... :D

oh, i can't do anime (i've tried...not very good at people..) but i do cartoons. i can sometimes do realistic if it's birds. i birdwatch too.

Ok... Wow. This is serious. I'm Maddie, and well I'm finally coming out. I'm a leasbien. I find myself attracted to girls at my school and cannot stop myself. I used to think LGBT was gross and should be stopped. Yeah, I was THAT person. But now it's just different. I'm not attracted to my friends, but I guess I would consider myself popular, and I DON'T want to come out, because I know my friends will disapprove. I smile a lot, and have always been a natural hugger. I love music and am in the choir. I draw and if you want to see my art, it's on my photos. Please help me get through this. I have made my decisions be am a Leasbien. I cut, but have been 4 months clean!!! Help me get through this guys. Thanks for you support! Love y'all!!!!

Ok! I should be in bed... Haha. I've been in this group for awhile and some peeps know me, but yeah, it's all cool. Erin is gonna freak though when she finds out. ;)

Well she gets up around 6ish my time. So can't wait to see the freak out.

Maddie, also, if you're friends can't accept you for who you are, chances are they weren't real friends. Just be careful.

Being yourself is natural! You can get through it :). And hopefully one day you will be able to tell your friends (depends on you and their attitudes, some people are just cruel)
