its been a while since ive found any books ive felt like reading, but now my metro rides are becoming a bore! i need something fun to read...
any ideas?

I don't know whether you're interested in juvenile fantasy beyond Harry Potter, but if so you might try The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud. The first book is "The Amulet of Samarkand." Or if you like fantasy that's off-the-wall (but with some interesting ideas) try Terry Pratchett, especially the Night Watch books, starting with "Guards! Guards!"
