I wonder how the bullies feel when it sinks in that what they are doing can one day kill somebody?

message 3: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments oh like I said everyone gets their just rewards. I delt with bullies all my life and guess what I've traveled to places they've never been, seen things they've never seen, and experienced life as they never could. I married and have a child with a man who loves me and he gives me everything I want. I stay at home and take care of things while he works hard so I don't have to. You know where those mean bullies are?
ALONE with kids struggling and one day chances are their kids are gonna be bullied and they will look at themselves in a mirror and cry.

Is someone bullying you, Frost?

I have personally never been bullied outside of my family as I have a very violent reaction to being bullied. It never ends well

Yes

message 6: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments I've never been on the other side but was always the victim. Mine started when I got glasses and after the four eyes remarks I got called fat. now I look at the pictures from them and notice that I wasn't fat I got fat after the words were thrown at me a million times. Later girls dumped perfume on my new purse and stained it so bad. the principal said oh she wouldn't do that she's a cheerleader. also a guy named Russell poured water down my pants and shirt in high school twice. Now I realize that I am an emotional eater and am getting help from my fitness coach.so far I've lost ten pounds and shrunk one pants size. she said my goal is to lose slow so it stays off but by my 10 year reunion I will be down to a size six or seven. The effects of bullies have long term effects.

Thanks for still talking to me. I am still in high school. But, i am just happy that i am at a high school that is just opened five years ago. i don't know how that fills like. but i can understand the fat thing. even though a person that i thought was my friend told my brother that she though that i was fat, and now my brothers are calling me fat. and now i am gaining more weight. i am 15 years old, 5ft 7in and weigh almost 170lbs. that is not good.

message 8: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments I was 5ft 5 and weighed that at the end of my freshman year. By the time I was a senior I was 250 easy. I lost some when I went to college because there I was accepted and invited to dances. I even dated! lol that was a big deal to me. Now like I said my coach is great she has helped me cut things out of my diet that were unnecessary calories like pop,I switched my bread to whole grain, play a wii and dance a lot with my son,and I have given up sweets for fruit and yogert. Its working just slow

have you ever tried going on a gluten free diet? i have. because my mom put me on it cause i am bulimic, but i don't throw up a lot now. so i am off of it. But, my brother has diabetes and syliac. so, i always got the right portion. But, once i went off of it. I didn't like bread for like whole year and that helped with my weight.

message 10: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments no most diets make me ill even if they work. I went on a low carb diet and passed out in the mall I couldn't walk. So I'm just goin at it the old fashion way cutting things out and becoming more active. I don't care if I get super skinny I just want to be able to chase my son.

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Frost and Brittany I am sorry about what you guys went through. My story? Well I was physically abused by my dad from when I was 5. Still got bloodclots in my butt and scars on my head. I thank him though. I am tough as nails when I am cornered. Never got bullied ever again. I don't bully either. Ohh, I am 5'11 and stuck at 135 pounds since my highschool days. Stress makes me stop eating

I am sorry That your dad abused you. If it makes you fill any better. My dad spanked me once so that i ended up getting bruises on my butt. only because i wouldn't pick the cherry tomatoes cause i am terrified of bees, and roller coasters, and heights, and glass elevators, and airplanes, and ships, and boats, and lakes, and rivers, you know what?! I just realized i am terrified of many many may things. Oh, and you are actually at a healthy weight. i have a brother who is almost 7ft tall and weighs almost 40lbs, and he is pretty healthy. so, i'm pretty sure that you are pretty healthy to.

What happened?

message 30: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments oh my neighbor refuses to keep her dog in her own yard and her teenage son was out in front of my house and let it use the bathroom inside my fenced in yard! then I asked the kid to call his dog and keep it out of my yard and the kid got very smart mouthed. Then his mother came up here saying they cant control their dog and her son wasn't being rude!

message 31: by Sydney (new)

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Awww. Some neighbours those are. Buy a taser gun and put the dog out for a few minutes. It will know not to intrude next time. wink wink*

message 32: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments wish I could, I threatened to call the animal shelter to come get it but I don't think it will matter much they will just go get it out they have decent money. I really hate it. Almost wish I had livestock so I could shoot it. Its legal to if its harassing livestock

message 33: by Sydney (new)

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Nah. You know, aggression never solves problems. Befriend the dog and give it treats. It will be your dog too and then will obey you. Done that all my life. The neighbours pets end up being mine too. :)

message 34: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments yeah wouldn't be a prob but I have female dogs and Scooby is a boy

message 35: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments Also its aggressive and I have an 18 month old

message 36: by Sydney (new)

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Ahhh. Well that's a problem. As for aggression, I don't think a good would attack a baby. Ironically, I had a dog names Scooby growing up(neighbour's dog) We pulled her tail and held her newborn babies (sometimes hit her, being kids) but she never turned aggressive not even once.

Well you are smart, think of somewhere to handle this issue. I am positive you will come up with something

message 37: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments yeah you see that is the way our female dogs are. my son can bite them and everything but they never growl or anything. they are great, I'm sure the issue will resolve itself.

message 38: by Sydney (new)

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Brittany wrote: "yeah you see that is the way our female dogs are. my son can bite them and everything but they never growl or anything. they are great, I'm sure the issue will resolve itself."

That's the spirit. I should inform you, I like looking at everything positively however bad it gets. I am glad you are being positive

message 39: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments Oh I am usually a happy person, I've been through so much I try the "it could always be worse" theory. I try to go with it. Really its not the dog I'm mad at. I can not stand rude children. I was raised you respect your elders and let them handle each other, stay out of it. I wasn't even allowed to talk when adults were talking together; I was supposed to go with the other kids.

message 40: by Sydney (new)

Sydney Mugerwa (corrosivemind) Ahhh, I understand. I know. Well, I live in Africa so respect for elders is ingrained in my DNA. I would whoop the kids butt! :D

message 41: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments Yeah my family is old fashioned so we had to show respect or we got our rears tanned.

message 42: by Frost (new)

Frost | 59 comments Mod
Well, for the dog problem. People trained dogs by squirting them with water. So, you just squirt the dog, and they can't complain cause it was on your property.
In my family when we were younger we would always get grounded, and stood in the corner, and yelled at if we didn't do something right, and spanked. But, now we all have no respect for our elders. And, there has been fewds going on between some of my sisters and my mom. Two of my sisters are at it cause the younger one of the two tells the older one that she can never bring her boyfriend over cause he isn't white, and because she has a tatoo. then my mom and my favorite sister got into a fight right before my birthday, and i still haven't seen her. My birthday was on he 25th of January. Now, my mom believes, and i am starting to believe it to, my sister thinks that she is better than my whole family. That is not the only thing though. In my family if you leave the church. My dad basically dis owns you. I would yell at him, for he has no right to. But, i have to live at home until i'm out of their custody, if i ever decide to do that.

message 43: by Brittany (new)

Brittany Perry | 167 comments Wow that seems harsh. My family are the really close Little House on the Prairie type. You know they are just old fashioned. Idk about the race thing cause my cousin is half African American and no one really says anything about it.

If you have ever gotten to know someone, you realise you don't see them in color shades. Rather you see their heart and soul and that is the human race I know.

My family is actually closeknit too. After our dad passed we started to heal
