I hope you have the next book, because once you get started you wont be able to stop reading.

i am intrigued what about vamp/angel puts you off? Is it that you see them as divided by the good evil tradition. Certainly the ever popular good versus evil overlord trope is played out here. I finished Burning Skies the 2nd in the series this morning and I'm really enjoying the series. I like that the characters are complex not all good or all bad still I could do without Endelle being such a vicious bitch all the time. When Havily told her supreme bitchiness that she sucked as an administrator it absolutely made my day. You go girl.

This is one of the best series out there.. Caris does a fabulous job in world building, story arcs and character development (don't I sound all important *grins*) and the sex is good too!!

I really enjoed this series and it had a hole new spin to it. I've read them all and can say I would read it all again.

Oh yes they have wings and they rock. I love this series so much. You should really give it a shot.

This series by Caris Roane is amazing. IMO, she writes a very structured plot which is highly maintained and controlled, but yet she still allows for you (the reader) to enjoy and fantasize about these characters.

I consider her similar to JR Ward (in her earlier BROTHERHOOD books), the style is the same, but she goes into depth on the sexual scenarios, where I believe JR has dropped the ball a bit on those. And some of those situations are explicit and highly sensual.

Fans of vampire romance will love this series!
