This thread is for discussing YA novels and authors. What is your favourite YA book? What YA authors do you like?

fave author- Neil shustermann
Fave book- three way tie ATM--- forest of hands and teeth- enclave- birthmarked

I tend to like YA for the simple fact that I didn't truly get to Interact with ppl my age growing up- so I always liked to read about ppl my age doing fantastical stuff

Riya PRetty much all books I read are YA!!! My favorites are: The Book Thief, Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, and Jasper Jones :)
And I love almost all the ones you mentioned Ruchi!

Robin (robinstephen) I love Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' series. Also 'The Scorpio Races' by Maggie Stiefvater is a pretty incredible read.

Yoshi (beautifuldarkside) Well these are currently my favorite books/series.

1) The Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima
2) Gone by Michael Grant
3) Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
4) Eragon by Christopher Paolini

I guess Thirteen Reasons why doesn't fit with what I normally read, but it was amazing.

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) Kelley Armstrong's "Darkest Powers" series is really good. I was sad when they ended. :(
