I simply loved the first three books, but the last one I did not like so much...
I love the whole series actually. It's one of my continues read without stopping until I finished it. I admit that I didn't expect to love it though because there are many negative reviews about it but still I gave it a try then I ended up loving it. Maybe not the story as a whole but the idea of fallen angels and falling in love every lifetime just have a huge appeal to me and I didn't care that there are not much love triangle at all (which pretty much what I love and anticipating in most books I've read)I guess in the end it's just a matter of opinion and tastes.
I really liked the first one but after that they just went downhill in my opinion.
i am torn to answer this question. i have fininshed reading the series and yes, enjoyed it. but a few things that really nag me is lauren kate's writing style of over descriptive and repetitious about daniel's love to luce. ive lost count of how many times it was mentioned in the third book, Passion, over a thirty times i believe. most of the readers of the third book most probably skipped pages to get to the ending but it was actually neccesary for you to read the entire book, because that is when luce discovers her past selves and the real relationship between her and daniel. she considered giving him up once. but after she saw him throw himself off a cliff after her death was she convinced that she was never going to let him go. the hardest to read for me was the second, Torment. i wanted answers there and then and lauren had to draw out my suffering by sending luce to another school (groan) where she meets more mysterious friends (great.) it would have been perfect if she had just fast forwarded to Passion when she discovered the truth about her past and added Torment's content in between somehow. that book's update was wayyy too slow.
so yeah, conclusion, i did like the series, but i find it difficult to read. it is unique in its own way, but ive read better books that offer a good storyline and effective way to deliver it.

I actually didn't really like passion all that much either, that book was my least favorite in the whole series.
There may have been times that I didn't absolute love it, but the good parts for me way surpassed the bad I definitely fell in love with Daniel, though bookswise I fall in love a lot

I would rate it a 3.0. It was not to my satisfaction, and I was quite disappointed at the end. :( If I could have re-written the end, I would have made them able to be angels and live happily ever-after. They might have kids, and lead a happy life, and never grow old. You know? That kind of ending.
i loved this book!!! i was so desperate to know the ending and thus i completed all five books in three days!!! it was awesome and ideas of the author, i guess..she took me from the modern world to medieval period...yeah, they werent holding my attention snd i ve to read twice to understand but otherwise i really enjoyed this book!!!! love it

Loved it! It was a great read after reading the Twilight series. I almost liked them better than Twilight-but not quite. They were still a great read and all the girls in the school have said they love them too.
absolutely loved it to the max. No doubt! The ending of the book was unexpected and awesome.
i really enjoyed the series but i have to admit that as the books progressed, there were times that i was speed reading through parts because they weren't holding my attention.
spoiler:
I loved it and Rapture made it to one of my most favorite books list. And the ending was cool though if the epilogue made it too the point in which Luce and Daniel actually make out humanly it would've been better. Since I like mahout scenes. *shoulder shrug*

I love the series, the third book was a bit mmmphf, that was the only that dissapointed me a bit.
But the other three + Fallen in love were jus AWESOME!

I loved the whole series. They were new ideas and very refreshing. Probably the best book my hubby's ever given me
I really liked the first book, but the series got worse and worse. I struggled to finish the last book.
Loved the first book, but the rest of the series disappointed me.
Passion was extremely boring, just Luce running around and not figuring out much at all. The series doesn't get better, even though I loved the first book.
