Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 109 comments Here's a partial biography:

A 2009 recipient of the Governor's Award in the Humanities, and a 2006 inductee into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame, Terry Kay has been a sports writer and film/theater reviewer (Atlanta Journal-Constitution), a public relations executive and a corporate officer. He is the author of twelve published works of adult fiction, including the recently released collection of short stories, The Greats of Cuttercane.

His other works include Bogmeadow's Wish, The Book of Marie, To Dance with the White Dog, The Valley of Light, Taking Lottie Home, The Kidnapping of Aaron Greene, Shadow Song, The Runaway, Dark Thirty, After Eli and The Year the Lights Came On, as well as a book of essays (Special K) and a children's book (To Whom the Angel Spoke). Google him if you want to see more.

I can personally recommend To Dance with the White Dog, The Runaway, and The Year the Lights Came On. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be The Runaway. Give at least one of these a try if you enjoy southern writing.
